Catwoman

Are they not supposed to keep all the villains in different cells?
Yes, they have them all in separate cells. There's a women's ward. There are a number of specialized cells (Killer Croc, Clayface, Poison Ivy).

And... Catwoman wouldn't be considered insane. Catwoman has been incarcerated in Blackgate Penitentiary (comics/game) and Stonegate Penitentiary (comics/cartoon).

That said, in the game about to come out, Arkham Asylum and Blackgate have both been destroyed, forcing the city to turn one of its neighborhoods into a temporary 'Arkham City' that houses criminals from both facilities.

At least 99% of the stories that were at allextremesex.com (Lit's "Extreme Link") were horribly written though.
True.

I have nothing against snuff or bestiality, but every time I read a story there, I wanted to pour gas on it and set it on fire.

The whole point of Arkum is to give villains a second chance.
They were in rehabilitation, mixing together just like the guy who thinks he's Nepolion mixes with the lady from Venus.
Depends on the management. There have been issues where Arkham is a hellhouse or the head doctor is as insane as the inmates.

I remember a comic where the warden had locked Poison Ivy in a dark cell for three days. The green skinned PI is apparently part plant and requires sunlight for various chemical reactions. Depriving her of that made her incredibly ill.

which way did you go with the story? I'm sure "date rape" happens. This could be a great idea for a book!

It was a gang bang/rape, but not violent. The college girl was drugged at a frat party (and the plot slowing developing that her b/f was a member of the frat, picked to set her up but started to fall in love with her, and that's why he asked her not to go to the party), and the frat members pulled a train on her as she moved in and out of consciousness.

Laural and Manu are supporters of free speech, but more importantly they support the law.
It's an observed law that an adult woman playing a little girl in a sexual role in public, is as bad as morphing a picture of a naked adult into a naked child, not that I think nudity is bad (need petition signers to keep child nudist camp open).
This law is not really an enforced one, and that fact is taken advantage by Webcam girls all over (freedom of expression).
It's the thought it might be enforced someday that has Lit operators running.

Sexual age play in the virtual world is an enforced law.
Ever since "To Catch A Predator" first aired you can see why (government funded stings don't count).

On the breast size point, I've read stories here that had storylines surrounding the issue of small or large breasts.
Typically the main character is jealous/envious of the size of someone else's breasts or else she gets too much attention with big boobs, using sex as a weapon.

The whole point of Arkum is to give villains a second chance.

Wrong again! There are hundreds of sites dedicated to teeny porn and you claim for one second that those sites dedicates to teen porn aren't girls pretending to be younger than 18 you'll earn a well deserved (cus you are) liar mark. It's not enforced because it's not a rule. You just have to pound the censors until the realize it.

Yeah the breast size thing I was a bit exagerating on but still it's one of those regular gripes.

I'd guess it was the drugging. You'd like have gotten better results with her simply held down for it and eventually going along with it so they'd stop smacking and spanking her. That said censorship is ultimately random and I bet if Stephen King wrote something with a twelve year old girl fucking her dog and giving birth to a werewolf that he would past muster. Quality of writing matters ALOT.

New Supreme Court Opinion Discusses Virtual Child Pornography Law; Linden Lab’s 2007 Ban Clarified
Basically, the law limits legal “virtual child pornography” to material that either doesn’t depict explicit sexual acts (under Section 2) or isn’t “obscene” (under Section 1). It appears that the drafters built this law so that even if Section 2 were to be held unconstitutional (under the well-known Miller test, “obscenity” is determined based on contemporary community standards, which makes specific prohibitions somewhat suspect) Section 1 could be left intact — and thus “obscene” virtual child pornography would remain prohibited even if the more explicit provision was found unconstitutional.

It may not matter anyway. While this is admittedly speculative, it seems that most of what Section 2 prohibits would also be found “obscene” even under the relatively lax “contemporary community standards” of an adult-based virtual world like Second Life, and certainly under the contemporary community standards of most real life U.S. communities.
Second Life Sex Play aka "Age Play"
The short answer is it depends on what the woman in pigtails with a lollipop is doing.
Is she stripping for the camera in a sexy way, or is she just flirting in a seductive manner?

What I'm saying is that it's argued this is freedom of expression and either not challenged or not successfully made illegal.
That's pretty much what the first article said also.

Lying is lying Fantasies. The case your citing (while ignorant in and of itself) is about virtual minors. The claim while still up in the air to some extent is that Lisa Simpson can't have sex because she's a minor, her being a toon is non-withstanding. Personally I think that's stupid but who cares. It still has no effect on my 21 year old girlfriend throwing on knee socks a frilly skirt, putting her hair in pig tails and licking an oversized lollypop.

Well, I never thought that I wrote poorly. Certainly not like the droves of incest tales "published" at Lit or the items found at allextremesex.com. Perhaps I caught one of Laurel's off days.

Duh...
That's what I just said.
Avatar age play is restricted to non sexual or adult (not child) images.
If you are talking about live age play, that has to be seen on a Webcam doesn't it?
Then you're possessing a sexual image of one who appears to be under 18.
This is the law I was talking about that is enforced but not challenged, although some religious groups have made a big stink about it before (mid or late 90s).

PS: I never said anything about Lisa Simpson.
That was a copyright case anyway.
The Simpsons case was a scene from "The Simpsons Movie", when Bart rode on his skateboard nude and hit Ned Flanders' window.
Some people said the cartoonists should not have shown his penis.

This was a case in Australia not here, but IMHO it gave a precedence for more censorship in cartoons, such as the scene in Family Guy where Lois Griffin takes off her top and shows her breasts.
This is only seen in the DVD version.

Well, I'll leave it up to anyone who wants to run with this story cuz I'm not sure what the rules are on submitting comic book characters but just looking at some of the drawings below, you can tell that the writers wanted her to be involved in some gangbang fantasy

Sorry if I'm bumping an old thread, but I saw a Bat Girl/Catwoman story rejection in the author's hangout, and that reminded me of this.

I let this go when you wrote it Sean, but you're starting to piss me off!
Do yourself a favor and look at the Miller Test, a three prong test that shows what is and isn't obscene (unofficial depending on bill), then check out the Protect Act of 2003 (includes virtual child pornography definition).

Yes Laurel, masturbation is considered sex to the government (even if a finger is used), but so is lesbianism, which is done without a penis!
Both activities are incorrectly called sex.

I know what the Miller Test is, it effectively says "I'll know obscenity when I see it."

The Protect Act of 2003 still applies to IMAGES and images that are specifically mimicing underaged girls. Again if you're claiming that teen porn, go look at Lexi Belle, Kat or Gauge. There are porn stars who literally make their living pretending to be underage. They don't SAY it because that parts illegal but they throw on knee high socks, put their hair up in pigtails make certain to squeal a lot and carry around teddy bears. Sometimes they'll have skits with them coloring in coloring books.

Can some give clarification on this rejection reason.

Today there is an X Men and there has been a DW Who story with Amy that went on for 6 chapters

I didn't say it was an enforced law.

By the way, have you ever heard of something called free enterprise and freedom of expression.
That's what movie porn is (or claims to be).
