@lilmissdarling is right. This is one of those movies that sticks with you psychologically. It would be the movie I have seen most recently that I would say "bothered" me.

If you do watch "The Strangers" it will be interesting to hear your take. The sequels were nowhere near as good, but this is a movie that messes with your head.So just to be clear.. not everyone has weapons strategically placed throughout the house so they are never more than a step away from something?
Not everyone is constently scanning their whereabouts and always sit with their backs to a wall to gauge threat levels and have a plan to escape or defend?
AFAF...![]()
Remember, it's a bit silly and it's Lovecraftian so a bit.. out thereWatching "The Void".![]()
Likewise, just started it.Watching "The Void".![]()
Ok, over the last three nights I have watched "Scream 7", "The Devil's Mouth" and "The Void".
Tonight I am planning on watching "Until Dawn". I really need this movie to bring it home, because the other three have just been "meh" in my opinion.![]()
Don't you talk about my baby (Scream 7 or any of them) that way. It can do no wrong.
I liked the Void. The "action" so to speak never stopped. But I kind of felt bad for the Daniel guy. He pretty much spent the movie getting his ass kicked at every turn.
The cultist outfits though.. 10 outta 10. Creepy AF.
I did like that aspect of it, but a lot of the movie felt like "The Crazies" to a degree for me up to that point.I didn't expect it to go all LoveCraft and body horror but that just added to it
Ok, now I am intrigued for your hierarchy of Scream movies.Don't you talk about my baby (Scream 7 or any of them) that way. It can do no wrong.![]()
Agreed. I did like the looks of those. The cultist outfits though.. 10 outta 10. Creepy AF.
IMHO,,I think there are plenty of others here who have valuable insight and probably know more than I. But sure, when I have more time available I can give a ranking.
Also.. Depending what time I get home, I may watch Hellraiser tonight (finally). Should I start with the original? Or one of the newer versions. Let me know y'alls thoughts.
Sinners, Weapons are both good.I am committing to watching "Until Dawn" tonight so I can fulfill the book report requirements by the end of the week.
My question is, what should be my next watch? Does anyone have any recent films that I should see? Everything I can think of to watch is 10 years old or more and I am wondering if I missed anything recent that people enjoyed. Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks for the suggestions. I have watched Sinners and Weapons was on my list to get to soon.Sinners, Weapons are both good.
Or the less highbrow side
Ick was b movie class
There was ANOTHER conjuring movie, ( I genuinely can't tell them apart )
@lilmissdarling I just was curious as to your ranking of the Scream films since you appear to be more of a fan of Scream 7 than I was.
Thanks for the list. I think my ranking would be similar except that I would rate Scream 2 higher.Scream (1996)
Scream 4 (2011)
Scream (2022) — (Scream 5)
Scream 7 (2026)
Scream 3 (2000)
Scream 2 (1997)
Scream 6 (2023) The subway sequence? Absolutely nasty. And the best part of the entire movie.
New / upgraded Wifi? That is a bummer.Im a little sad. No movies for me this week. Wifi wont be installed until Friday.![]()
