Character Body Size

I also now want to write a story where every attribute is highly specific but for in-universe reasons 🤔
"She stood an impressive 176 centimetres tall. That made her one of the Boston Dynamics X-28 models. Temu does a knockoff X-37 that's about the same height, but you can tell those by the unrealistic skin, and Daewoo's Versa-Kill 8000 will stand that same height with the variant heavy-grip feet, but none of those survived the EULA Wars of '37. From the curve of her hips, I could tell she had an extended battery capacity add-on, important to know if this negotiation went badly. But her eyes...her eyes were cornflower blue. Aftermarket, unless I missed my guess. This wasn't just your average security bot; this was somebody's pet project."

Does her manual comes with a warning that says "DO NOT FIST" in bold letters?

Instead of being specific about body measurements, get super specific and technical about her lifting routine and how much she can leg press 😱

I only found out yesterday that a Street Fighter film was released, and my friends were shocked that I didn't know. They did, however, drooled over Chun Li's actress, and I wanted to know a bit more. Knowing she consumed 4000 calories daily is making me delve into the bodybuilding circles I avoid because I'm more into dancing and kickboxing than bodybuilding, but I'm not sure if I want to cook this considering there's... a lot on my plate right now.

As long as there's no steroid use in that bunny, I'm fine. Though fake nattys will be a dark joke.

You jest, and it's not really a genre here on Lit, but if you go to something like DeviantArt, you will find a lot of stories that are pretty much exactly about that.

On second thought, remember those old-timey boxing stories? I'm shooting that bunny with that instead of bodybuilding. I already have experience with this; six years ago, my final non-erotic story was a martial arts novel.

Also, I cut firewood with side kicks.

One of the best descriptions ever: à la William Gibson, the bike messenger Chevette Washington looked like she could crush walnuts with her thighs.

Could she actually do it? Well, it's not a contest 🤣

@KittyOfSteele is much scarier than me!

To be fair, I don't do presses, I just practice one kick way too much.

I'm down to see people do stuff like that with their bodies; I don't see it as a competition.

Specifically for writing erotica, I think the level of description should match the tone of the story that's being told. If your story is meant to arouse and focus on the actual depiction of sex, then I'm more likely to accept more detailed physical descriptions (as long as they're done well, of course). But if eroticism is only part of the story and the objective is to further the narrative, I imagine using more subtle language is probably a better play.

Of course there are examples of stories that do both and I'm in no way trying to proscribe a definitive either way. I'm just making a general observation given the stories I've read here on Lit. They tend to be one or the other, to varying levels of proficiency.
