I sat on the hotel bed in downtown New Orleans, irritation and mild panic setting in. Never in my life has I met a man like him. We met in a bar in Atlanta while I was there on business. He was attractive and had a nice body to boot but his attitude was completely alpha male which I hated. We danced a few times, hoping that would keep him off my back for a while but it didn't work. The closeness had made me aroused, evident by my nipples poking through the sheer material of my dress. He cornered me in the back, kissing me hard, that tough body pressing into me intimately. I responded instinctively, feeling the bulge in his jeans.
The intensity of it all frightened me and at the right moment, I pulled away, leaving the bar as quick as I could. Later on, I found out that my friend, who I had came with, had given him my cell number. Ever since I would get text messages from him telling me in graphic detail how he wanted to fuck me. The man was a brute who thought nothing of doing what he wanted to get whatever he wanted. When saw him in the window of the boutique where I worked, I decided it might be wise to leave for Jazzfest a little early this time.
I had family there and would love to see my nephews. A few times while I walked the streets of Bourbon with my sister-in-law, I could have sworn I saw him in the crowd and I had smelled that familiar scent of his cologne while in Cafe Du Monde. I must be getting paranoid. Surely he wouldn't follow me all this way? "Lily? Are you alright?" Sandy smiled at me but I could see the worry in her eyes. "I'm fine, just tired." I went back to the Hotel Indigo to try a nap but sleep just wouldn't come. A bouquet of yellow daisies had come while I was out without a card. Something in me knew it was him. There was a small thrill being the object of a chase but I would never admit it out loud.
Abscently I rubbed my face into the pillow, inhaling softly. The scent there caught my attention. It his unmistakable cologne on the soft material. I sat up looking around the room. When had he been in my room or was he still here?
