I've had 3. Started with a cheap plastic one, was ok. Had some fun to it. However when I wore to work, fittings broke and it spent more time in pieces than used.


After that, same design but in steel..worked a treat. Felt amazing to wear, especially the weight. However, active job and cold weather shrinkage led to it falling off a few times. Dropping down my trouser leg while at work. Which while hot, could've led to significant issues.

Currently, got a silicone one. Grips much better and holds me tight. However two side effects; firstly it grips rather tight and can pinch and hurt. Secondly the shaft sleeve requires lube otherwise any erections push against it rather than slide into it. Which can lead to it falling partially off or becoming painful.

First the ring should be comfortable. 2” diameter? On a different subject. You should also try a cockring. Tractor Supply has a variety of metal rings you can practice with in the $3 range. As to the cage: Mine is lightweight . When I got it I thought there was no way! Use some lotion like Vaseline intensive care etc. Pull your balls through first then tuck the head under. I use the largest ring too. Allow the cage to snuggle down possibly with a trusting motion. Then pull your skin away from where it connects to the ring. Once you are locked slide it back against you a little.

My Mistress and I are eager to bring chastity into our FLR and have been having problems with comfort while a cage is in place. I read so many blog reports about how the sub would put on a cage and spend their time peacefully growing hornier by the day/week. In our case, we started with a CB-3000. It was comfortable during application but in most attempts grew painful to the point of needing to be removed pretty quickly. Pinch points, compression between the base ring and cage, and other things caused us to abandon its use. We just purchased a metal cage after very carefully measuring. It went on without too much discomfort (using an oil based lube to help). But once again, I began experiencing hot spots of irritation along many of the contact points that grew to make it undesirable to keep on. Another thing I’m still not understanding is why I’m of generally average size but even with a larger 57mm base ring, there isn’t room to slide a finger under it easily. Most other cages don’t even offer a ring this large.

Can anyone who has been down this path share their stories of what they experienced and how they overcame it? We are excited to add this to our repertoire, but not at the expense of being in constant discomfort.

Since my last post months ago, real life has interfered and we’ve only used the metal cage twice for about a day each time. Even though the comfort was better then before, the fit and inability to wear it longer caused us to casually discuss maybe getting a silicone cage to try since we’d done a CB and metal one. I decided to not push the issue and see if the motivation would come from within my gf/mistress. The cage arrived quickly and in two preliminary fittings, it seems like it is comfortable and light. We noticed that it isn’t as easy to put on yet, which might limit one of the things she likes - to be able to apply it while I’m tied up. The only question I have for silicone cage users is what lube do you use? The manufacturer recommended vasoline but that seemed to get sticky very quickly and was hard to clean. Water based lube is absorbed too quickly to be of any help. I read mixed reviews of using silicone lube with a silicone cage. One manufacturer actually suggested using them together so I tried it. There seemed to be no degradation of the cage, but the lube seemed to clump up like rubber cement. I will probably try baby powder next. I am open to any advice from people who have experience with this.

The base ring should be snug but not tight. And lightweight too so you don’t notice you are wearing it. The cage should be the same way, snug but not tight and lightweight. I have a red and black plastic one with several base ring options. The cage seemed too snug but my head relaxed and resigned to its new quarters just fine. Maybe you need to wear snug underwear as a barrier. My cage has a urethral tube. It makes it so much easier to pee and not as messy, but does require more maintenance. So it’s not for everyone.

No it doesn’t hurt and you get used to the feeling. I’ve been ask why many times so here is my expectation. Sometimes when urinating things don’t Libe up quite right and you spray also since you don’t have access to your penis you cant shake it when your done. I have had drainage issues. So with the tube you always pee normal and can pee standing up. Since there is a cap on the end of the tube you don’t have to worry about drainage.

It took some getting used to and messing with the right rings and spacers but the oval/square shaped ring was always very uncomfortable for me. Earlier this year I got a Holy Trainer v3 which has a different kind of lock system (integrated lock vs a padlock). The Ring is also more ergonomically designed and much rounder than the CB6K.
