2020 will be the year where the Grinch finally, successfully, steals Christmas.


He's already gotten away with stealing just about every other fun holiday so far this year, and he seems to have Halloween and Thanksgiving in his gun sights, so...this time, it's looking like the Grinch wins.

It's simply horrible. The worst Christmas tune.

The town did a great thing this weekend. Seeing we should not really go to the mall and unsure how they are handling the Santa business, the town did a huge float, with Santa and elves.
The float blasted Christmas tunes and went down each street and they handed out gifts to each child. Impressive presents as well, all gift wrapped.
It was fun to see and see the kids standing on their lawns jumping up and down at the sight of Santa.
Good job, town!

My town did similar a couple of weeks ago; fire, police and ambulances full lights and sirens front and back, rolling through neighborhoods with santa on a flatdeck tow truck in the middle.

I was watching a movie, didn't know what the fuck it was at first.

It will be quiet this year. Immediate family will be here though which is fantastic.

Since I'm a teacher I will have over two weeks off. Definitely looking forward to that.

Santa will be here. Carols will be played. It will be Merry and Bright even if the number of family around is less than sometimes and there are fewer gifts. Still my favorite time of the year and looking forward to it eagerly. We all need a break from this year and Christmas will provide a day of fun and not thinking about things.

I love the variety of boxed oranges this time of year.

The latest box are bigger than clementines, seedless and have a very bright flavor burst.
