I guess I'll need to avoid that show. It's a TV show. There's a us and a uk version. Anyway, poor Carl can never catch a break.![]()
Yeah, I think you just made that up.the irony here, I think, is that most the men advocating for circumcision for babies would refuse to undergo the same 'snip' themselves as adults.
Good show. Haven't tuned into it in awhile.
It's often very hard to watch.I guess I'll need to avoid that show.![]()

That's why they push for it on helpless infants who cannot consent or fight back.the irony here, I think, is that most the men advocating for circumcision for babies would refuse to undergo the same 'snip' themselves as adults.
Say it passes, will the expanding Islamic population in the UK even obey it?That's why they push for it on helpless infants who cannot consent or fight back.
The rational position that respects choice and bodily autonomy would be just let adults choose it when they're old enough.
Probably not would be my guess.Say it passes, will the expanding Islamic population in the UK even obey it?![]()
My concern is for the Jewish population in the UK.Say it passes, will the expanding Islamic population in the UK even obey it?![]()
I would guess their numbers would be flat or declining. Islamists are projected to be around 17% by 2050.My concern is for the Jewish population in the UK.
They don’t benefit babies. They benefit sexually active adultsAI Overview
Male circumcision offers health benefits like reduced risks of urinary tract infections (UTIs) in infancy, certain sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including HIV, HPV, and herpes, and penile cancer, along with preventing foreskin issues like phimosis and balanitis, while simplifying hygiene, though it's not medically necessary and carries minor risks, notes Geisinger Health. Major health organizations, like the AAP, state benefits outweigh risks but don't recommend routine circumcision for all newborns, emphasizing informed parental choice.
Key Health Benefits
-----------
- Reduced UTI Risk: Significantly lowers UTI risk, especially in the first year of life.
- STI Protection: Decreases risk of HIV, HPV, and herpes, notes The Newborn Circumcision Center and The Lancet.
- Penile Cancer Prevention: Lower risk, particularly when combined with HPV vaccination.
- Foreskin Problem Prevention: Prevents phimosis (tight foreskin), balanitis (inflammation), and smegma buildup, improving hygiene.
I do not know why I was not circumcised as a baby, but I was not. I decided to be circumcised when I was twelve years old and I was. The reason I choose to be circumcised was that I felt self-conscious taking showers with boys in gym class. I was the only boy who was not circumcised.
For that reason I want boy babies to continue to be circumcised. I do not want Jewish boys to feel the way I did.
The Jewish population makes up 0.5% of our population. My concern is for the Jewish population in the UK.
Both will object to an anti-circumcision law.The Jewish population makes up 0.5% of our population.
Muslims 6%.
And?Both will object to an anti-circumcision law.
But their religions command them to circumcise newborns. And?
It’s not an anti circumcision law. It’s an anti child abuse law. They can still Perform circumcisions on consenting people.
But their religions command them to circumcise newborns.
Again, who cares. But their religions command them to circumcise newborns.
You've obviously never tried to suck a cheese filled foreskin. Lol.Again, who cares.
Religions should not dictate child abuse policy. That’s why FGM is illegal. Child marriage. Religious Child slavery and sacrifice in voodoo rituals. The list is huge on what religious practices are illegal in our country.
That’s why we live in a functional (if not fully) secular country in the UK. A separation between ‘church’ and state is vital for a modern society.
And why would you ever? If a man can't maintain simple hygiene, why are you even near him? You've obviously never tried to suck a cheese filled foreskin. Lol.![]()
