So, how do you guys think this will go? I am seeing more talk of it. Many saying we were a mere inch away from it.

Are you going to load up your vehicles with your weapons and descend upon Chicago? Do you think that would go well for you?

I’ll give this an honest attempt based on available evidence and reality:

A “civil war” suggests an organized mass of people on both sides engaging in armed conflict.

That ^ will never happen, as there would be no chance for either side to "win".

Society is so interdependent these days, that the disruption caused by a “civil war” would take down both sides in the end.

Everyone knows that ^. And the wealthier white Americans (on average) who have the MOST to lose aren’t going to risk their asses or assets.

And even if there was some isolated civil war action, like J6, it would likely play out just like J6, with the number of actual combatants being insignificant, and insufficient to totally derail American society / government. (And certainly a number that could be handled by the military and law enforcement with the aid of the majority of the general public. (See: J6 and the aftermath that saw the general public assist law enforcement in identifying the main combatants.)



Side note:

You can rest assured that there is no violent civil war action coming from the Democratic Party’s base, and any resistance by members of the Democratic Party to some armed or unarmed attack on the rule of law and representative government would be met mostly with work stoppages so massive that American society / "civilization" (and likely, societies / "civilization" around the world) would come to a screeching halt, (See: Ghandi).

As for "the far left" (who are NOT the Democratic Party base): In the event of even a limited civil war, they would relish armed conflict and the opportunity to “burn it all down” in the chaos environment afforded them by a temporary societal breakdown. And when I say “burn it all down”, I MEAN burn it all down, literally. All the expensive bullets in the world from all the expensive guns in the world are useless against flaming infernos that can be set against those relying on expensive bullets and expensive guns to "win", using the most inexpensive means: a simple spark, a simple match, a simple lighter, applied strategically to a dry field, a warehouse, or a city, and it’s game over - especially when society is in chaos and first responders are off the job.



For all the reasons mentioned above, I truly believe that a civil war is a remote possibility. Even crazy people understand self preservation on some level: The same terrified crazy people who FALSELY CLAIM that immigrants are ending America know damn well that a civil war would ACTUALLY end America - and they won’t risk that - because they’re terrified of losing EVERYTHING their white privilege heritage has afforded them.

There was a time, not so very long ago, when it appeared entirely possible that South Africa would have a civil war, over issues much more important than anything that now divides Americans.

They avoided that war. They built a functioning multiracial democracy in a country where the idea of democracy had shallow roots.

I don't think I had seen this thread before, or at least responded to it. But I was thinking of starting another, similar thread. I'm wondering how many of the gun-loving MAGA tards on here are willing to exercise their Second Amendment rights to overturn this election when Trump loses. How many of you losers are preparing to take up your beloved arms against your fellow Americans who vote for Harris, as well as the "blue lives" you pretend to support, in an attempt to reinstate your orange god?

I'm personally betting on "not a single one". All bark, no bite, as always. But I hope you all DO show up at the Capitol, with six-guns a-blazing this time. Biden and HIS military won't be so kind to you this time. And we need to sanitize the gene pool anyway.

Civil war is unlikely and unnecessary, for a while. A huge portion of the nation, maybe most of the nation, is committing slow but thorough mass suicide with quaxxines. The unquaxxed are standing by and watching the terminal decline of many millions of people. Imported cannon fodder could do some damage, enough that Pubs can be glad they have guns, but mostly I expect they will be used for manual labor, since so many quaxxed will be permanently disabled. The dropping global fertility rate and America becoming less attractive will limit the supply of imported labor. But the nation will eventually split apart. Without fossil fuels, transportation and communication will be too slow to govern a nation of this size and geography. And then there will be wars between new nations, like the frequent flareups between European nations.

Add to that, if Putin were to send ambassadors to visit with the Mexican president offering up Arizona, southern California, bits of Texas and New Mexico in exchange for missile placement on the southern border similar to what o'l two scoops did when Zelensky was offered bribe money for the same, all the while contacting subversive groups within the lower 48... especially when the kamala is placed in power.... this could very well be dicey, spell the end of America as we know it.....
