Gin stopped his run short of his destination and felt an unbeliveable sadness mixed with great strength. He had never felt anything like this before it was almost as if someones soul and free will had died only to be reborn as something terrible and deadly. He did not know for sure but somehow he felt it was Gavin's soul that this change had occured. Quickly he checked his map which put the McNeil lands due south and only a few hours run from where he was. He looked south then west again, he scrapped his original plan, this was far more important and possed a great risk for his Mistress. He had to at least learn of the strength that was rising there. At least until he reached the border of the McNeil land he did not care about being silent and unseen taking out these steps increased his speed twice over, he had to find out and he had better be quick about it. If it was Gavin he would have to make himself invisible to the witch he listened too. The Monks from his homeland had taught him that they do not detect him but more they can feel his soul, to hide it he must live in shadow. He had thought he had done so but in truth he knew the technique the Monks had spoke of but he had never mastered it. It involved giveing over to the shadow completely and molding ones body into it. It was the highest skill that he could achieve and it was the only way to make himself completely invisible to anyone, be they druid, monk, warrior or God himself. If he was to have a chance of avoiding the Druid's sense he would have to master this technique, however time was of importance he did not want a confrontation at this moment anyway. His mission was to study and learn of their advisary. Still a little insurance never hurt he took out a bracelet of Prayer beads that the Monks had given him. It would not make him completely invisible to the sense of Druids but it would make it much harder for a weaker one to spot him. He placed the bracelet on his wrist and a small amont of peace washed over him and refreshed him silghtly. He redoubled his efforts and sped off to his new destination.
