Clinton vs Giuliani

This could all change, but if we were voting today, I think voting for Obama would be unwise.

I like Obama better than Clinton. However, he just does not have the experience. He's too young, he's too easily persuaved, he just doesn't have the experience necesarry to run a country. Don't get me wrong, I love that guy. He's what our country needs. But we need him in 10 years from now. Not next year. He needs to learn, experience, age, gain wisdom...
Almost all the "experienced" people in congress voted to let Bush and Cheney take us to war. Their experience didn't allow them to detect cherry-picked, warped intel that was used to justify the worst foreign policy decision in decades. It's not surprising when you or I is fooled - who wouldn't trust Colin Powell, after all? But at this juncture having watched the debates and done some research I'll take the integrity and vision guy over the alleged experience, which didn't equate to wisdom on the part of people who aren't just you or me. We tried a so-called compassionate conservative and we got a quagmire that's fucked up our economy and our status in the world.

I'm glad we have choices, but Giuliani and Clinton evidently represent more of the same double-talk beholden to special interests, and if the race comes down to those two the "choice" will be negligible, and voter turnout will be disgracefully low.

I refuse to work for either person. If the presidency lands in either of their hands, I will make out with the first man who crosses my eyes and get kicked out of the Air Force for homosexual conduct. I´d asault someone, but my new commander is handing out 3 year sentences like friggin´candy.

Let's be honest, the candidates on both sides are all fatally flawed.

And that doesn't bode well considering the mess that W is sure to leave behind.

Obama can't even put his hand on his heart for the pledge of allegiance. Yeah, great candidate there.

I'll take that over any dipshit Texan any day.

ah the Clintons...good times,huh...should be great having those 2 back in our faces again...
I wish there was another country I could move to that's equal to the USA while those 2 are back at the helm.

wait till Bill is appointed Sec'y General at the UN...bank on it...Hillary and Bill,
the most powerful/power-mad couple the world will have ever seen.

I agree that the final choices will probably be Clinton and Giuliani. Clinton is a shoe in and already has it locked up. The Repulican side is far from over but I think in the end they will decide that Rudy does have the best chance of beating Clinton in the nationals. I agree that all candidates from both sides are fatally flawed. The democrats scare the hell out of me as they have no thoughts or ideas on running the country at all. They are running only on one platform - end the Iraq War, no matter what happens afterward. Even though Hillary is a shoe in for the nomination she has been ridiculous. One minute she wants to give every new baby born $5,000 and a couple of weeks later she has already changed her mind. What quality of president can we have if someone proposes a new program and then just a couple of weeks later has already changed her mind? For those of you who think that the war in Iraq was a huge mistake I must point out that that is your opinion (OK, the opinion of many) but history has not yet judged the event. In my humble opinion the war on terror was a necessity, possibly including the war in Iraq. I think the war will only be judged as a huge mistake if the end result is Iran becoming a nuclear superpower in the Middle East. Iran and Iraq used to keep themselves in check. I also think the war in Iraq could be judged as a huge mistake if we don't finish what we started and just pull out, letting the terrorists take over the country and turn it into a safe haven terrorist state to springboard terrorist activities around the world. At that point we would probably have to go back in all over again and finish what we didn't finish the first time around. Come to think of it, isn't that why we are there now - because we didn't wipe out Saddam the first time around?

Why would any Democrat, after seeing what Kerry did in the last election, vote for Hillary? I just don't understand the thought process. Once again, the Presidential election is the Democrats to lose. All they have to do is put someone up there who is electable. As a politician, Hillary is no Bill.
