James was 3 years ahead of his sisters, Allison and Amanda, but they had followed him to state college. He was in his senior year of college and they had just entered their freshman year. While they had been different ages they had been tomboys and had often followed him around. In fact besides for his best friend from high school, Johnny, they were his closest companions.

It was his senior year and he was the class president and a major in economics, the top of his class, and was weary of leaving his sisters so he had decided to apply to Law school so they would be together for another 3 years and had been accepted to U-Michigan, it was a great school so he was happy with it.

He had just found out he had been accepted so he had his sister over, Allison, and had decided to go out to a bar with her and celebrate while he watched the the badgers play the buckeyes.

Allison and Amanda, despite being similar in personality and obviously in physical looks, still didn't spend as much time together as some might've thought. Tonight for example, Allison was free to hang out and party with her best friend and big brother James as they celebrated his acceptance into a post grad program at the university in pursuit of a Law Degree.

They were both happy for his continuing success, but Amanda had some prior academic commitments with being elected class officer of one of the major organizations on campus and thus, it was an Allison and James outing. But neither of them seemed to live it down too much that she wasn't there with them.

There was a series of cheers as during a break in the game, Allison showed her pinpoint accuracy with the darts, easily hitting closer to center then the more inebriated companions that were hanging out with the two siblings. Having won the impromptu game, she turned back around and sat at one of the high bar tables that they had snatched up, sitting beside her brother as the bar waitress came by, asking them all if they wanted another round of tall glasses.

Showing up her forged ID, the server went back to fetch another round for all of them. It was going to be a good night it seemed, if the evening was any good indicator.

"Shit Alli you destroyed us in darts. I didn't know you were that good." He was trully impressed she had thoroughly beat them at a game he had played for some time.

"I'm impressed the ID has worked so well, didn't you get that from Jimmy in high school?" She nodded coyly.

Taking the drink he passed one to his friend on the left and took a sip. He looked at the tv, his team was down and it didn't look like they were going to come back. So it is was. Turning to his sister he asked her if she wanted to order something to eat.

"They do a terrific nachos, I think I'm going to get that." Flagging down the waiter he placed his order and asked for a glass of water.

Their orders arriving he nibbled on it and watched he end of the game.

"Game's over, should we stay for another round or go home and watch a movie?

"I'll be honest bro, I'm feeling kinda pooped," Allison replied with a slightly exaggerated yawn. "I don't want to get too much of a buzz going after all. I want to be able to function... just a little bit... tomorrow morning," she added with a smile, before putting an arm around her big brother and giving him a hard squeezing half hug.

"See you tomorrow," she said, just as the nachos arrived. "...after the nachos.. that is," she then added with a big smiling correction as she took a chip and practically buried it into the sour cream and chive dip.

It was 10 and his sister was taking off already. He wanted to spend some more time with her. "Comon sis, its only 10 and its my celebration night. Its You really cant stay out any later, you know you can always crash at my extra bed, its also saturday tomorrow what do you have going on?"

Seeing that he was fighting a loosing battle he gave up. What a tease he thought... Eating my nachos and won't come watch a movie with me.... Digging in he, he was amazed by how good the food was every time he got it.

Later after settling the tab. He walked her back to her place and gave her another hug. "Tell Amanda I say hi, we should all get together later this weekend. Well sis, you sure I couldn't get you to watch a movie."

She swayed her head from side to side as he combined his hugs with his persuasive quasi-begging. "Ummmm I guess I could stick around for a movie... it is a Friday night after all," she said, finally giving into the pressure as they left the bar.

Hugging her tightly he was happy she had finally acquiesced. "Do you think Amanda is home? Do you think she'll be jealous if I stole you for a couple more hours?"

He had just gotten a new movie from netflix and was eager to watch it.

"Please, Amanda is a big girl. She'll be fine," Allison said with a smile as they headed back to the apartment to watch a movie.

"I swear, Netflix is amazing," she then added as she curled up next to her brother, having acquiesced as they walked back to his place from the noisy main street full of bars and inebriated college students.

"Do tell amanda I missed her company tonight. Too bad she had a previous commitment"

"Netflix is terrific get everything and anything.... It is like when your at home and your trying to pick a movie and just can't it makes it 10 times harder, but its worth it"

Opening the door he flipped on the light and turned on the tv and put the movie in.

"Sis I'm going to have a beer, what would you like to drink and do you want a snack?"

"Beer is fine," Allison said with a smile, as she gawked passively at the opening trailers that were apparently unskippable in the rental version of the DVD they were watching. "I need some balance after all that I drank tonight. And I don't need much to eat, just something to nibble on... ya know, something to do in the slow parts."

As he came back with the beer, she took one ice cold bottle in hand and took a swig before leaning against her brothers body as they half-snuggled on the sofa. "Ah this is the life," she said, half jokingly before tipping beer bottle bottoms with her brother as they finally got to the film itself.

He snuggled in with her and they watched the movie it was a sports movie called Miracle that detailed the US olympic hockey teams victory. "This is the life. Surrounded by good looking healthy people and friends." He tipped his bottle up and took a sip.

"I'm glad you came over I like spending time with you." He got up and put a bag of popcorn in the microwave and waited. Pop. crackle snap. Finishing he came back and watched the movie.

It was getting late, "Sis why don't you spend the night. It's going to be nearly 1:30 if I have to walk you back"

Allison groaned a bit, and then relented as she found leaning in against her big brother was comfortable. The movie was good, but not even good cinema could energize her this late an hour. "Okay..." Allison said softly. "I suppose I can hang out here for the weekend," she said with a tired smile. "I am assuming you have somewhere I can sleep that isn't a floor?"

He kissed her on the forehead. His hand running through the back of her hair. "Thanks I'm exhausted."

He let go of her and heading towards the kitchen he told her he was going to get a glass of water for them. He filled two pint size glasses and walking back brought her one. He gave her a small hug and said "thanks."

He laughed a little "You can always share my bed." But he brought her over to the spare bedroom and started moving things off the bed and carefully placing them on the far side of the floor. He tossed her one of his pillows and said "It's actually not a bad mattress."

He gave her another big hug and told her again jokingly "I do have a king size bed, there is plenty of room."
