Made a nice mid-morning cocktail with some Vodka, oj and pineapple juice.

Have you ever used brown sugar to salt the rim, when making a Margaritas. I never have, but heard it's an option ?

I have not. Usually just salt, or flavored or smoked salt

There is always ice. Find the 7/11 gas station with the outside ice box. It's going to melt anyway. Better off in your cooler and eventually in your drink.

When it goes, is it usually out a while? We've been lucky since our wires went underground, except when Comcast was laying new cable and had bad aim with their trench rocket.

Yeti-type cooler good for storing ice that you want to retrieve without opening freezer. Fill one up before the shit hits the fan just in case.

Though I have seen it done in strange combinations, especially the further along in the evening. Personally, I don't do many tequila shots. If I do, usually chilled with no lime or salt...which is defeated by the no ice situation

Amateur hour up there. Always fill any extra tuperware with water and freeze before hurricane. Will keep fridge and freezer cool. Plus extra ice and water when you need it.

last night was leftovers. Tonight a simple Philly cheesesteak chicken sausage with onions.

Negroni up followed by a red wine blend
