Just to say, you can publish a snippet relating to these writing prompts at any time, not just the day the thread is posted 😍.

In response to a question, please feel free to contribute to any of the writing prompts listed above at any time, not just on the day or week they are published.

These might be a good starting point for someone who has been toying with the idea of writing but not been able to take the first step 😊.

Are the week's prompts improvised or do you have a whole calendar of topics worked out and if so, how many more of these are you considering doing?

Sort of in between. I already know what this Thursday’s prompt will be - though I’m yet to write my response - and what the following Thursday’s will be, but not beyond that. It’s a sort of rolling two weeks thing.
and if so, how many more of these are you considering doing?
I was going to keep going as long as my imagination does and as long as people respond. I’d love to encourage readers to take the plunge and write something for the first time.

I’m open to prompt suggestions (and will credit the originator) but maybe PM them to me 😊.

These look fun, could do with something like this to shake some new ideas loose...

Just bumping these - if you are a long time reader and never a writer, maybe writing something for one of these prompts is just the challenge you need 😊.

Even if not, you can take a look at the creative way that many writers have responded.
