admins focus almost entirely on female infractions,
I was thinking top 3-5-10 get the mentor status but whatever works.
The valedictorian makes punishment so consistently sexual and the girls he "guides" GPAs go way up and truancy is way down. They don't wanna get in trouble again.
His charges specifically perform so well they make it so now it's always some kink of the mentor as reward/punishment.
some girls are so perfect they never get in trouble until a boy realizes if he gets in enough trouble the perfect, high gpa girls will have to "punish" them with sex then its a free for all, any guy can get in trouble, high GPAs are so busy they eventually go down the (academic?) rankings to share the "rewards" with more students.
Detention becomes a spectator sport,
maybe local businesses buy "add space" and dole out special punishments, maybe in their work clothes for advertisement they "perform detention" after a bunch of advertisements of coveralls and logo polos some "local advertisers" just buy ad space to spread awareness but they eventually don't bother to pick a cause. They "donate" to the school buying "ad space" to "spread awareness" during the school event of Detention.
Eventually detention is on the 50 yard line. Maybe one advertiser by accident or design buys ad space during the "mentor session" of a taboo pairing,
Despite offers from around the world advertising is limited to locals and local business' some ceo's and notable figures move to the area feeling philanthropic.
The cities morale has never been higher while the morals have never been lower.
This might just be another story but maybe this or an inspired school just takes all the rankings and flips it so the top 50% of one gender is assigned the opposite genders opposite rank so top 1% gets the 99%, 2% gets 98%, ect., as a mentee. Same system, guidance is spicy.
Maybe things get cutthroat in that 46-54% area
some failed sabotage/revenge happens, maybe some unexpected parings, some happy accidents where kinks match, maybe some public NTR, maybe some annoyed but compliant taboo, maybe more openly annoyed... at home... talking or doing something about it later at the dinner table pairings.
Maybe they have an unofficial barter system trading mentees.
Maybe someone of status applies but F's up big-time and ends up low or bottom %
Maybe to further reward the highest performers they make the extreme outliers "free use/sub to everyone" on the low end and "Ultimate Mentor/Sexual Privilege" on the high end.
Perhaps the extent of those roles bleeds into the community?
Grades are way up because everyone wants top % and under 50% is not advised.
Works well, school goes high end as smart kids start transferring in. Becomes an elite school of prestige for the gifted and a school of last resort for the rich and desperate to have a fancy diploma.
Could be a whole series, follow a teacher year to year as they play favorites and play with their charges. Maybe teacher expands the school to a new/changed college and not everyone knew what they were signing up for.
Some of this could be an office thing, maybe part of the yearly week long "performance retreat", Lots'a interns leave in shame after returning, the ones that stay become complicit. High performers flock to work there, new hires make bank to stay but retreats get more frequent until it just becomes workplace culture to have a mentor and take tutoring from management and top performers.
their booth at the job fair is the talk of the convention Turnover is still common but there is a HARD earned benefit/severance package on the horizon to anyone that maintains good standing for what is seemingly an attainable time... some end up exploiting that looming date.
Likely do to some sabotage the first crop that almost make it work really hard, more pressure on them, not having fun, and then right at the end they miss out because of the wording regarding maternity leave.
somehow their birth control was overridden by a McGuffin (fertility drugs in provided food/beverage/vitamins, magic, hypnotism, "for the health plan" we only cover PhluCeeBo brand, "its against the rules sorry")
Maybe as a stipulation of the Maternity leave not forcing the infraction the mentee instead goes "Work from Home" and with an extended deadline their "work assistance and availability" is made known to coworkers and eventually clients and then friends of friends are taking reservations for tutoring while mentees share daycare responsibility ensuring everyone works hard.
There's probably a script of "questions and encouragements" these tutors are expected to reference to ensure work related guidance is involved but the seemingly benign guide is either ignored or used for "undesigned effect". "What are your strengths and weaknesses?" "what position do you see yourself in 5 years?" "tell me about a time you made a mistake and how you handled it" "customer service is paramount" and "when you're on the clock you're representing the company and are expected to perform your best from 9am - 5pm and when approved by anyone with a pulse" "we need to work on your dictation" IDK I just like the thing where you bring up work at lunch briefly so you can technically call it a work meeting and expense it.
