Colony 5309

BOL* (burst out laughing btw) It would have worked better if the program hadn't recorded the corrections being made at 1:34 Aaaron.

Okay, got'cha in re Good Spirit.

MedTech Alan Crowe
Rank: E4 / E6

Skills - Basic Medicine and Surgery. Mostly common sense stuff like Trauma, survival etc A firm grounding in XenoBiology - his speciality within his trade. As a Marine or its UTSF equivalent (I suppose Marine is a term that'll live as long as humanity now!) he's also an Infantryman with particular focus on exotic conditions and variable gravity.

Character - Medics see a lot of bad things and they generally react either by shutting down emotionally or by wearing their hearts on their sleeves. Alan has followed the latter path - which is why he found himself assigned to this expedition. As someone who's career is already outside of the mainstream in the Marines, Alan found it easy enough to relax about his assignments. Although there is a fair amount of mixing amongst the UTSF, elite units like Marines are often trained together - Alan has been assigned out of his "elite" unit and is therefore less insular than some of his brethren. Alan finds aliens and divergent human sub-species fascinating - he's not an expert on XenoBiology or XenoAnthropology but he's had the opportunity to experience some things that are off the beaten track.

Physical Description - Alan wears slightly modified shipboard fatigues normally. When dressing for what he thinks of as "proper work" though, he's all business. Not a strict follower of military courtesy and prone to sarcasm and dark humour to relieve tension. Average height and average build, although like all Marines he's in good physical shape. Has chosen to grow a short goatee during the mission training and prep now that he's out from under strict military discipline. Brown eyes and dirty blonde hair, cut very short (in space it's more practical). Like a lot of Marines, Alan has a number of scars from his experiences in combat.

Like a lot of Marines not all these scars are physical.

Erika Christensen – Maintenance personal ...

Sounds good with me. Go head and mess with Ohthree if you want. Maybe one day give the Poor guy an updated AI. fix all you want in the Ship. 2 thinks however will and can't happened. The Hiber-chamber's are missing somethings only the 'Company" can fix. Engineering is nothing but Junk now. Make up some Parts you find if you wish but it would be better to build a new space ship then fix this one. And you don't have to know that right away. Would be fun. To see a Greased up sweaty sexy women in torn overhauls come Looking for some tension relief because of how frustrated the whole dam thing got her.

ahh Forgot to mention i didn't even think Warrant Officer but makes the most sence eh. sopose thats why you picked it. Good on you.

I can see a Cocky ol CWO being some Kida of Forest Witticer in Gothica. or some version of that.

The rank made sense as WO's are specialists in their field and it's good to be in that no man's land between enlisted and Officer. *G* No one screws with a WO in his chosen field, even unit commanders listen to them with respect, especially SR. WO's.

Haven't seen the movie so hope you like how I play him.

Character -

Welcome in.

FYI when the U.S. First started thinking of Space travel it was the Navy Pilots that jumped to it. Most original Spacefarers were Navy Test Pilots. That being said when we evolve to Spaceships I guarantee the First Combat spaceship will be the Constitution, Freedom or Enterprise. there have always been a Enterprise or Constitution in the US fleet sense the first commissioned ships (hey maybe Gene R. thought this too eh?) That leaves one to believe the Future Space Military would model a lot of it's protocols and Structure after the ancient Navy ways. Space much like the ocean of the Ancient years. That being said. If a Ship hits the ground and wants to Storm the Shore you think Sailors are leaving the Protection of the Hull? Hell no we’re sending out the Jarheads. Marines will never go away.

Constitution (anyone else love that word cuz tit Is in it?)

Nomatters about that. I was just using a common discription. I will say anyone who has seen that move would be scared shitless of you, if you did play him that way. so we'll forget that totally.

I hope you like and Enjoy the way you play him.

Dominick Landry

Dominick, or Dom as he likes to be called, is a Lieutenant in the Terran Space Fleet, Intelligence Division. Dom is a jack of all trades and possesses an intuitive thought process, that has served him and the Federation well through out his career.

Dom is merely a Lieutenant, because those officers promoted above him usually are stuck in their own paradigms and Dom does not react well to simpleminded men have been promoted for their family ties.

Dom usually carries a Saturian Naval Knife, that contains a variety of toolsets, everything from a marlinspike based ancient Mariner's set to a digital based circuit replacement/correction set. He also has an optical pistol, usually set to stun, and a sharpened dress sword. He is a crack shot and a galaxy wide fencing master.

One last one Original_Cyn2 I hadn’t determined yet if I was going to use the ‘Crystal’ Technology cuz I’d have to go back and read Killasaundra to remember it. But if you remember the details we can all follow the lead. I remember the different colors had lower and higher resonance/power. Black being the Rarest and most powerful (Treker/Trekies think Dilithiem Crystals.) FYI don’t get weapons ideas guys Putting black in a hand Gun Is the same as putting Space shuttle boosters on a Rollerblades. [/B]

*warm glance in Teks general direction*...Oh is this going to be fun *soft chuckle*

As for Crystal Singer, there are three books after the initial one...Killashandra goes forward to find a corruscating metalic crystal that clears the mind of that obnoxious memory hazard issue *laughing* and a million other odd bits...however, Furiae's mother was the crystal singer...I might throw a bit in here and there along the lines of the story but nothing outrageous...innocuous little bits...I promise!

Crystal Singer and Crystal Line if I’m not mistaken I’ve the hard Backs. I'm avoiding reading them again cuz i get sucked in too much and neglect my otherworldly duties.

Have you ever read Restoree? Someone bought the movie rights. I think that Dino Planet would make a Wounderfull B-Movie Series. Wish Sci-Fi channel would pick up a few.

ack focus focus i'm losing thought train must maintain... God I want to have the patience (and literary skill) to write movie scripts.

Hey i'll just start a Sci-Fi thread instead... Know where i can do that?

Ok i realize 99.9% of the time i'm not funny.

.... I'd like to add this thread has had it's first Causality. THE EXTRA ‘E’ IN THE TREAD NAME WOO WHOO. My stupidity is no longer on display for the world. Ok well at least not in that place.

Tsk tsk you dirty one Aaron, and as far as I remember the heat and humidity of this planet is very high, so who wants to work in overhauls anyway??

so who wants to work in overhauls anyway??

you read my last post?... swimming...

Think it's funny how without knowing it the two people that expressed above average strength reported no trouble exiting the Hiber-chamber. the normal Strength ones seem to be struggling a bit. Well it wasn't obvious to me at first.

Weekends and busyness

I'm sorry to inform you that I often have some very busy weekends and therefore seldom will be able to interact in the story however briefly are required, though I do promise to do my best to check back before I proceed to fall unconscious in my bed. You are more than welcome to write me if you want my acceptance of something regarding this, I can live with being part npc in the weekends (O boy…)

Rubbing my hands together as the mad scientists used to do in the old black and white movies....

Muwahahahahahahahahahaaaa!(evil laughter) A tasty morsel of a Lit virgin offering her nubile body as a part time npc. What more could I ask for, well other than willing and eager cooperation that is.

Oh be still my throbbing...... *lewd wink and leer*

I agree with Cyn, Phoenix. It's good to finally be writing with you...although I can't remember if this is the first time or not.

A seated nakkie (my usual lack of attire especially at this hour of the night *wink*) bow to you Cyn. Why thank you so much for the wonderful compliment. *wicked lil grin*

I think our first together VandalHeart, but I do hope not our last think this should be a hoot. *BG* (no nakkie bows for you *L)

I think I'll survive, Phoenix. Thank you for the courtesy of modesty.

I wish I could be nakkie right now...I'm at work.

I suspect so *G.

Ahhh the dreaded word that intrudes so rudely on our cyber fun and games. Mixed feelings there. Since I can't work and hate the loss of income of a fixed income jealousy; however, as it lets me sit here and commune with all of you pleasure. Such is life. Yin and Yang. *s

*soft chuckle*

My pleasure, oh nakkie One...it's so cloudy out here tonight I was missing the presence of the moon...thank You :)
