Coming Home (closed for smiley8022)
IC:
Carter shifted uncomfortably in his seat, reaching back to adjust the pillow that was sandwiched between his back and the window of the large Grey Hound bus. Finally satisfied with the position of the pillow, he swung his legs up into the empty seat next to his, glancing at his watch. It was nearly midnight, and he had been on the bus for five excruciatingly long hours. Luckily they were only another twenty minutes from his destination...his hometown.
It had been almost a year since he'd been home, but when he'd gotten the phone call at his house in Los Angeles he had known immediately that he had to go back. And now, here he was, just minutes from the dingy little bus station on the edge of town. Just minutes from seeing his twin sister, Carson. He had spoken to her by email an hour after he'd received the phone call, but he was anxious about seeing her for first time in so long. She was the only thing he missed about this place.
When the bus finally pulled into the station, Carter had just started to doze off. The hustle and bustle of the other passengers snapped him back awake and after looking around sleepily for a moment, he fumbled to stuff his iPod back into his backpack and pull his jacket on. Confident that he had everything, he started toward the front of the bus. The last one to step off the bus, Carter swung his backpack over his shoulder and started into the bus station, wondering if Carson would be as happy to see him as he was to see her.
OOC: Looking for a female to play Carter's twin sister, Carson. Basic idea is that Carson and Carter return to their hometown after the death of the grandmother who raised them and find comfort in each other's arms.

Name: Carter Davis
Age:19
Height: 5'11
Hair: Dirty Blond
Eyes: Green
Appearance:
Carter Davis is average height, with an athletic body born of eight years of competitive soccer. His smile comes easy and often and compliments his piercing green eyes. He has several tattoos on his arms and is proud to show them off, often choosing not to wear a shirt, whether he's hanging out at his house or on stage with his band. He dresses casual, his wardrobe primarily composed of jeans and t-shirts.
Bio:Twin brother to Carson, Carter had spent much of his life struggling against where he was in life and who he was supposed to be. The one part of his life that had always made sense to him was his sister. She was the one person he could count on, the one person whose opinion mattered more to him than any other.
After high school, Carter had chosen not to go to college as everyone had expected. After joining a local band as a guitarist and song writer he had moved into a house with his bandmates. With dreams of stardom in their heads they moved to LA. Since then they have struggled with gigs that pay little or nothing, taking up day jobs to pay the rent.
