Could This Be The Next Shoe to Drop?

In reality the president represents ALL the states, not the people. And that's exactly why the EC exists and why you aren't going to get rid of it anytime soon.
You like bureaucracy just fine when it is something that helps you all to power. 😉

lol, The EPA is the only good thing the Republicans have ever created for climate change so of course they have set out to destroy it.
Good call. Damn shame.
You’ll drain the Great Lakes in no time.
I bought water rights from vacated mining claims years ago. ( miners often find artesian sub stratas when testing)

This month’s SCOTUS rulings have illustrated that Democrats like representative government except when they don’t.
They have also proved that Republicans like smaller government and more freedoms, except when they dont.
Like for example, more laws that restrict a womens' freedom.

Legislation is the job of legislators, not judges. Democrats agree, except when they don’t.

We don’t really need it anymore and it just sets most people in the country up for anger and frustration. The president should really have the support of most people in the country, at least to start. The EC was just to preserve an institution that no longer exists and, like it or not, one person one vote is the only path to a fair and free election. Eventually, it will go down.
You do know that the system we have is called a Republican form of government, yes? And that the Federal Constitution guarantees a Republican form of government, yes? And that your idea of abolishing the EC means that we no longer have a Republican form of government?

So, despite what some media pundit pushing clickbait cash for his bank account told you, we don't have the "democracy" that genius made you believe we have.

Yeah, yeah. That should be, however, a lower case “r“ (all 3 times). The problem with that semantic is that the lower case “r” has been replaced by some by an upper case “R” and the upper case “R” is doing its darnedest to disenfranchise everyone who does not hold with them. That will eventually bring the upper case “R” down If they do not stop it. Nobody “told me” that. I typically do not “follow“ anyone. That is the trend of the history of this country, and we the people (and i do mean ALL the people) have come to expect It. Once that happens, it is a sure thing and only a matter of time.

Your memory is too short. The real steal was Bush v. Gore.
No, your memory of the event is in fact a fable, certain parts of which been repeated so often that they are viewed as established fact by many partisans on the left and students of pseudo-history like you LHBee, who have not done their homework. Recall this simple fact, Gore never led in the count, ever. Not before the count, not on election night, not during the count, not after votes were added to Gore's count, or after the final count. Another myth was that Gore wanted to count all of the votes when he actively worked to disqualify overseas military votes and the absentee votes in many Florida counties. Even in the post-election newspaper recounts Bush prevailed. Another favorite trope is a conservative SCOTUS tipped the scales of justice in order to make sure Bush won illegitimately. The vote in the SCOTUS was 7-2.

So my dear (just a figurative assumption there) all of that said, you might want to reflect upon your apparent susceptibility to leftwing propaganda and simply trust in your own ability to seek and find the truth.

You're welcome
RG

You're a conspiracy moron who believes 45 won.

You're an idiot,
Luk

There are four pending cases. Most likely the court will remand the cases to the lower court to be reconsidered under the new evaluation guidelines.
As predicted the 4 pending cases HAVE been vacated and remanded to the lower courts to be re-evaluated subject to the guidelines set forth, text and history.

Legislation is the job of legislators, not judges. Democrats agree, except when they don’t.
There are certain freedoms outlined in the constitution and the Bill of Rights- read them. Bodily autonomy and freedom from government interference of our most private intimate decisions is one of those things. Otherwise, this country would be no different from, dare I say it- a hard-line socialist country where personal choices are subordinate to the decisions of the State.
And it is the job of the Supreme Court to uphold these freedoms, not undermine or destroy them.

Where were you at the time? I was in Florida sixty miles outside of the state capital. I don’t know what you have been told happened, but I lived the truth at close range. You can’t gaslight me, dear, no matter how much it might suit you to try. 🤣

The New York Times, Washington Post, and Miami Herald paid for an independent recount. Bush won by an even larger margin. Being 60 miles from Tallahassee bestows upon you no special credibility.

Lol. There is nothing in the Bill of Rights about “bodily autonomy.” Abortion is mentioned nowhere in the Constitution.

The problem re. abortion is that those that support choice can't grasp what the issue is, that being the taking of a human life. They do not understand that the state has an interest in deciding who can make that decision and under what circumstances. They refuse to address the moral issues that surround the subject.

It was addressed with Roe and with the viability measure. The right wants protections to begin at conception which is unreasonable. That happens when your arguing with someone who thinks you're killing a baby instead of terminating a pregnancy.

I personally believe the choice should be the woman's up until birth, but am perfectly fine with viability.

Roe is dead, fuck justices making law out of rotten cloth.

Yes, I'm aware. And now a fairly straightforward compromise has been thrown out and given to the extremes to fight over in the streets. Fun times.

There truly was a reason Roe held for so long and it had nothing to do with "human life". When extremes get to fight over hard choices, nobody is better off

So your only real disagreement with what I posted is that you don't like CAPITAL LETTERS?

How awful for you.

The republican institution of the Senate isn’t going anywhere, though you seem to have forgotten about it.

Yep, it could be bigger and more far reaching than Roe or New York.
Here's some of the list that might have reigns pulled in
some need more pulling in than others

missing is AFT

  • CIA (Central Intelligence Agency)
  • CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services)
  • DHS (Department of Homeland Security)
  • DoD (Department of Defense)
  • DOE (Department of Energy)

Do you know how to know that list is bullshit? It doesn't list the department they hate most - Education. And I think you meant "ATF" is missing which makes sense since they are quite competent at being incompetent. Why fuck with them?

As predicted the 4 pending cases HAVE been vacated and remanded to the lower courts to be re-evaluated subject to the guidelines set forth, text and history.
This could be huge. Democrats are ready to defy the SCOTUS and the law but if they do they will be sued and will face with paying costs and damages in the federal court system.

There is no gaslighting. My knowledge of the events is superior to yours. All you have to do is refute the facts I just presented. In the attempt to do so you will be suitably educated. It is not my purpose to humiliate you in public, only to challenge you to seek the truth on your own by examining the "facts," not the propaganda. and the facts are as I stated them to be, my dear. :)

...or that "moral issues" are not the purview of the SCOTUS but of the states and people closet to them.:)
