Covid kittens

"Adorable"?

The kid is a redneck in training. His coat pattern even looks like he's wearing one of those white "wifebeater" T shirts. The next thing you know he'll be swilling it down and passing out on the floor... oh wait...

We all know gingers have no souls. :cattail:

They have so much baggage their luggage has to have a special boxcar of its own.

And they burn like motherfuckers in the sun.

kitty gram update:

They're 3 weeks old today.

Who're you? (Domino and Geetoo with half of Bandit. If you look closely, Domino is showing off her only gray toe.)

Unhappy camper. (Diamond and Calico Kitty with that redheaded kid who is always hanging around for some reason plus Bandit's butt)

Just teasing. :rose:
I have openly ginger people in my family. :D

I'm not as red as I used to be up top. Faded a bit to brown. Comes out in the sun though. But the skin... yeah, I'm still the pale-don't-even-bother-trying-for-a-tan pallor that comes with the far western european lineage.

Kitty gram update. 4 weeks today.

They're starting to eat solid food and drink water. Climbing all over the cage and fiercely wrestling with each other too. In a couple of weeks they'll be separated from their mom. At which point she goes to the vet to be spayed.

The shelf Diamond is on is about 14 inches off the bottom of the cage. Yes, they just jump (more like fall) to get down. They have no fear of heights.

Do you foster/rescue cats or do you not spay and neuter? They are really cute.

Momma in this case is the last of a bunch of feral cats that have been having litters in my back yard. Litters which, except for the few I've been able to save, have not survived more than 3 months since they were born. (Some of them were REALLY cute too).

Once she is fixed, that should stop.

Good for you! So fostering, basically.
We used to have a neighbourhood trap neuter release program for the cat colony problem. My one cat is a by product of the program. I kept him in the house for two days after the surgery, shots, ear clipping just to make sure he didn't get an infection. Opened the backdoor to let him out, he came immediately to the front to be let back in. 7 years later that street "kid" still sleeps on my couch.

We have had a bunch of "rescued" kittens in the past year. 3 full litters for a total of 11, including the current litter, plus trapping 4 others adults.

Adults get trapped, spayed, released. Kittens get adopted out. GeeToo will probably live here the rest of his life because he is not a good candidate for adoption. He was trapped when he was barely old enough to be on his own but old enough to be wary of everyone and everything. It's too late to toss him out again now because he doesn't have the skills to make it in the wild. If we'd let him go earlier, he wouldn't have been old enough to survive. He's a nice cat, quiet and house broken and not territorial, just very scary about people and loud noises.

We're pretty awesome if i do say so myself. Which i did. Say. :)

Pfffft. No thanks, have three of the insidious creatures already. Trust me when i say they chose me, i didn't choose them. 🐅🐅🐅

That sounds like a totally lonely life.

You need a cat so you won't be so alone. I can help you out with that; if you adopt 1 kitten out of this litter, I'll throw in 3 more as an "internet special".

With your new cat you won't be spending so much time alone either.

I'll have to confer with my dog, i'll get back to you. :D

I can see that you're really enthused about having a family pet after your time of solitude. However, the kittens won't be ready to go to their new home until late Summer/early Fall.

You'll just have to wait.

Dammit! The university charges $20 a head for blood donor cats. I could've used 60 bucks right about now. :(

Awww that little ginger, he's so cute. I'd call him Clive. Send him!

This guy?

He's already on the FBI's terrorist watchlist, the UK won't even consider letting him immigrate. And NONE of the shipping carriers will even consider transporting him. He's worse than Experiment 626 I tell you.

I mean, just look at those eyes. Only Satan himself has black eyes like that. Plus, you can see he's already planning on the complete destruction of the world as we know it.

He's bad news. Trouble on fur feet. Do yourself a favor and settle for being lonely and catless rather than letting him annihilate the planet.

Oh god he's perfect.:heart::heart: He'd be a great little sidekick for Pip. Bob would be scared of him and Molly would probably kick his head in.
