I get the feeling that once @Bry1313 reads the bit “It spreads joy onto a sandwich”, he will see it as competition

I'm diabetic & I can't drink what I wantWhatever they want would be my guess.
Sure you can. You chose to drink what's best for you and avoid repercussions. It's still your decision/what you want.I'm diabetic & I can't drink what I want
Coffee, tea & water. No sugar in any of it.Sure you can. You chose to drink what's best for you and avoid repercussions. It's still your decision/what you want..
I'm on oral medication (out of control) as the doctor calls it, but my A1c is 6.5Every diabetic is different. I've been managing mine for twenty years and only recently - with CGMs - have the doctor's realized just how different. Most diabetics can eat peanut butter, we we're told for years it was a safe snack. Once I got va CGM In learned that I shouldn't eat peanut butter. Same with alcohol. Some can have a little, some can manage beer, others shouldn't ever risk it.
It's manageable. I miss beer. Boy do I miss beer. But it can be managed. You'll have bad days. Just do better the next.I'm on oral medication (out of control) as the doctor calls it, but my A1c is 6.5
I agree, it's not always cut and dry. We all make our own choices. I know that alcohol will make my sugar rise, but I'm going to have some. Lowering my carbs has really helped, but my body does better keeping between 50-80 a day. We all handle things differently.Every diabetic is different.
