I kind of used to like DIY. As a kid I did a lot with my dad, so I know how to do some stuff and I know tools etc.
There was a point in my life where I even enjoyed it.
Now? "Can we just call someone? I mean...just pay them whatever"

I'm so over it. And yeah, it's the same thing. There's always "an issue" that makes it "not quite normal" and it's a PITA.
(nothing is truly square, level and plumb....).

Oh I have renovation stuff as well, of course - owned a house until that move, so I have 3 moving boxes worth of tools etc. Luckily I can fit it in the basement storage.

But within my apartment I have even more sewing and knitting stuff. More than a closet - if I arranged it so that I could actually use it, at least 2 tall cabinets worth. Probably more, as I have 2 knitting machines as well. Tools, materials, projects, stuff to mend...

Came back to the old place today to get odds & ends that didn't get packed. The movers come Friday, then all the technical moving is done. Then it will be unpacking and purging for a year. lol

I purged then too, but it came to the point where it was easier to throw everything in boxes. And my sister was saying "you can't get rid of that because Grandma gave it to you". So I'll get rid of it here where she can't see. lol

Thanks! This weekend we found our new Mexican restaurant and their queso is divine! And it's only about 1.5 miles from the house. Bonus!
