Has anyone had any luck with theses ads. Dealing more with the couples or looking for a MMF or FFM.

I think depending on what town you are the quality varies.

Anything casual I would be careful of course. But nothing wrong with trying and seeing.

I havent tried craigslist. But it's been so long since i've had sex I might just try it out haha

Craig's is BS

What I mean by that, is if you're looking for a woman, forget it! All it is, is fake adds with sharks posing as women and trying to lure people to so called verification websites so you may verify who you are, with false promises that once verified, you'll have access to the fake woman's phone number to supposedly call her directly and make a sex date. It's all bull!
There is no woman anxiously waiting for you to verify and it's not a verification site at all. Just another bogus adult site. I fell for it once and once is all I need.

CL really doesn't work well
As mentioned, mostly bogus postings to get you to click links, etc
Also, woman looking for donations :)
Have tried many so called sex dating sites and all disappointing. The horny wanton woman who really love sex and men are not to be found there. I think good old fashioned seduction still is the best or seemingly only option. So go out there and get them tiger!

i like to read craigslist ... missed connections section ... found a post describing someone I thought I knew, so I contacted a mutual friend and as it turns out, it was about a guy I knew ... the woman was at the end of the line, craigslist was her last grasp .... now they are married ... don't know much about their life now, but I told my buddy who knew this guy, 'he better name his first kid after me.' ... probably won't happen, but I did something good.

You know I think you must be the real Santa Claus. That was a great thing you did.

Talk about one in a million shot...

It's not that absolutely all of them are fake. Just at least 75% are official professional scammers, then 50% of the rest are solo males pretending to be something else. Mathematically, that leaves you with 12.5%. From there, will they like you is a whole new chapter. :D

But similar to men trying to pretend to be women here, most are relatively easy to spot.

So in conclusion, yes, lots and lots of fake junk. Patience would be required.

And if you're a couple searching for a solo female for threesomes.. Don't blame the website (any website). They are nicknamed unicorns for a good reason!

I don't know the odds, but it was pretty amazing.

What caught my eyes (besides the guys names) was the the fact she mentioned he was missing a leg ... which the guy I sort of knew (I knew him from a friend, I don't really know him) ... I didn't just go running to my buddy that knew both of us, I waited about 3 weeks ... as usual, was drunk when I first read it ... and then I read it again and the strange thing was, I almost kept it to myself ... I can't say why I would have done that ... but I didn't ... I never met her, but she moved form California to N.C. ... if that doesn't get me into Heaven, then I don't know what it would take.

CL Beware

I know a couple that posted a CL ad in hopes of finding another woman to join them. They made this mistake of inviting her over to their place the very first time to meet. She ended up robbing them.

Sounds about right.

I bought Disney tickets off Craigslist once ... took my brother with me into an office in a strip mall, run by Asiasn (no offense to anyone who gets offended by descriptions) ...

a normal ticket is a hundred, I bought for 50 and what they do is buy passes, 3 days at a time or something, in bulk and they get cheaper prices ... the thing was, I buy the ticket from them but I also have to return it .... their offices was a table, a few folding chairs, and older guy and some teens (looked like teens to me, but they could have been 50) ...

the shady part, I had to give them my credit card number ... but looking back, crooks are careful, they work just within the law ... and in the end, they are very honest unless you try to rob them, then they use the law against you. What are you going to do? '911, hey, I bought tickets, didn't return them and got charged the remainder?' ... sounds like a transaction to me.

I agree with the person who said the posts are as entertaining as the Sunday comics. In my mind I think something is wrong with a guy if he can't find a woman without Craigslist. How about instead of treating a woman like a piece of meat, invest some time in her and you'll discover you won't have to lurk around on Craigslist trying to find a woman willing to sleep with you. I get propositioned regularly for sex on a dating site I've joined; as a woman I find it offensive. I have no interest in being treated like a number. I want a genuine gentleman not some guy looking for sexual releas.

I agree, and its a double edge sword... one side being treated like a piece of meat by someone so desperate on one side, and someone so naive thinking that they are going to find someone without any of the risks that are involved.

You get offended when someone wants sex from you? ... Every girlfriend I've had I've wanted to have sex with before I knew her .... it comes when the idea that this person is interesting or just sexy forms in the mind ... there is attraction and attraction + attempt = physical completion. At least, that's the end goal.

What is really offensive though? That someone wants to sleep with you or the quality of those people as you see them?

What's more disturbing ... someone that comes out and says, 'hey, I want to fuck' or someone who is willing to put the time and effort into a relationship that may go nowhere?

Of course I'm reading way to much into your comment, but sometimes I like to think and I could think on this for hours ... but I'm going to hit the reply button before this becomes to long.

Yep - most clearly scammers, but even the less obvious ones can't always be trusted.

Made contact with one once on e-mail. Got given a phone number after a couple of days of messaging (all seemingly kosher). Then texted and it turned out it was an ex-boyfriend trying to get revenge on this lass.

Never bothered trying on there again after that.

The offensive issue is they *only* want to have sex. The guys don't want any sort of committed relationship. I want a guy who will invest himself in a relationship. Why shouldn't a guy take me on a date, give me flowers, etc., so yes the whole non-committal issue strikes a negative cord.

I used to try it but everything posted is true.most are pros and scammers.you had a better chance to be struck by lightinand most of the women are young.I use craiglist mostly for buying and sellingworks pretty well but relationships were and likely still a joke and frankly unsafe.not my cup of tea

It seems to me that if you are looking on Craigslist, you are probably in the situation where you are married or in a relationship and you're looking for something outside of the relationship. This would usually indicate that you are not interested in a new relationship, but only looking for sex. That being the case, it would be natural to be looking for other people in the same situation, and thus the only reason why anyone would ever look on craigslist for anything. Nothing insulting about two people mutually looking for the same thing, and using a common medium to accomplish the task.
