Other than from the back, it was the only way to take a photo and keep some bits out of sight by getting an angle. Otherwise you would have had lock stock and smoking barrel. The sofa in the room was enough contrast to my skin to be able to set a focus. It was a difficult one. Hubby got some of the fails with the whole lot so he was happy.

And a lot of failures! I do a lot of photography so I guess have a few ideas of how I can do something. Voice activation, Bluetooth buttons, and remembering where you set the manual focus. A little flexible tripod. Sometimes though it just doesn't work out or the setup falls over, or I just lose whatever mood I was in to take it after a couple of goes.
