Correlating the number of sex partners with sexual prowess is kind of like correlating the number of cars a person's owned with their driving ability. It makes no sense to me.
I have no doubt that creative types might have more sex partners than non-creative types, but as the article says, they also have more mental illness, drug and alcohol abuse (writers lead the pack as juicers, by the way) and general emotional and material instability in their lives.
Besides, I've always associated sex drive with quantity, not quality. You can be a maniac with one woman all your life, or you can be a dud with fifty or a hundred. Who's got the higher sex drive?
No. I'd just say that more creative types have more creative lives in general, which includes sex and everything else. That should come as no surprise to anyone.
