Stygian had retreated to the far side of the small cave as far away from her as possible to eat his meager meal. He avoided looking at her, instead concentrating on every morsel that passed between his lips.
Damn that woman. What was he supposed to do now? He had told her he would show her how two lovers kissed, but what did he know of that?
His experiences were either ones of drunken revelry, or impassioned heat. He knew nothing of love or it's ways.
Oh he had often observed it while stalking prey, or keeping a watch out for members of his pack, but he had never experienced it himself. He was going to have to fake it and hope she could not tell the difference.
He should be okay. Had she not said she had not experienced it as well. Then he would be able to do anything as long as he did it with confidence. Still he remembered the way he had felt when he had seen her by the lake, and the other times he had observed her while they had been journeying together. He was looking forward to this a bit too much and for some reason he wanted to get it right.
He finished his meal and looked over at her. Maybe she would not want to go through with it, and he could call her bluff. Of course she would back out.
Standing up he moved to the fire and looked at her. "Well then Red. Are you ready for your lesson or do you wish to admit you were only play acting?"
