I'll try to avoid the floral prints, I'm fairly conservative dresser in my guy clothes and so far that's carried over. At least colorwise! I don't know that thigh-highs are all *that* conservative...I still need to get my first skirt and blouse though, some makeup, my wig (conservative and shoulderlength, not some giant beehive!)...it's all such a project, but so much fun!

I finally got my camera and computer talking again and have been playing around with photos. The first result is the new avvie. But I'm picky *and* shy, plus I am still learning how to use a camera and wear the clothes, so don't expect a photo barrage anytime soon

And it's a *lot* harder than it looks to take even a halfway decent pic of yourself.

I am familiar with"femdom"as referring to a female dominatrix(sp)-I just took a shortcut and like you said meant "dom" as in short for "domain" All things that fell under the female "experience". I know, it was a poor choice of words-I get lazy sometimes..

A few observations...

Shaving. I've gone on about this before. But it's hard, and it hurts. I remember hearing arguments about what is worse, shaving your legs or your face. I guess you can get used to anything but shaving my face can be done half asleep in ten minues, while shaving my legs...*shivers in horror*

Short skirts. Okay, they are fun to wear. But how do women do *anything* in them? Sit down? Walk? If I sit normally, *guyishly* I'm afraid of ripping it. That goes for a lot of feminine clothing. Let alone the *shoes.*

Hair. Feminine hairstyles. Wow! So much work! So much effort! So hard to look good!

Is it possible men succeed more in what is a man's world because they save an hour or so every day -- maybe ten hours a week -- not fooling with hair, nails, makeup, clothes, etc., etc.!


I just have two *major* steps to go, at least as far as outward transformation goes: the bra and breastforms, and the makeup. I'm really dreading the latter. Yet another complicated ritual I will totally be inept at!

Looking Good does, indeed, require a lot of work. But the end result, the appreciative glances (and more) of adoring men makes the effort worthwhile.

Finding out the "hows, whats, and whys" of make-up will require lots of trial and error. If you have a trusted female friend, get her to assist you. Certainly there is a learning curve, but you can do it!
