Ok, so I know I'm probably not the only one that has a crush on a Lit user, or even a few, that I'm just too nervous/shy to talk to!
You know, the one that you always see round the threads, and they seem so...unattainable? I feel like I would be annoying that person. It's frustrating!

Is anyone else feeling this pain?

I understand totally. Why is it so difficult to press that Send PM button?

Are we scared? Surely most people on here are wanting to make some kind of contact with others. If they have any limitations on PMs, surely they should say so in their profile. So what is there to be scared of?

It should be so easy to send a PM to say Hello/I like you/You make me smile/Your body is just fantastic/I'd like to get to know you better. But it isn't. We can show our bodies in revealing poses but we can't say "Hi".

Nine PMs out of ten may come to absolutely nothing but that tenth might just strike up something worthwhile.

What's the worst that can happen? Just Press Send.

Eventually talking to your crush can be a mixed bag. Sometimes, it's just as satisfying as you hoped it'd be. Other times, it's disappointing. But before you ever talk to them, it's all 45-second RomCom montages and private swooning. I actually like that part. It's like a coloring book. You've read enough to learn the structure of the person, and you get to play around with different colors and fill in their parts with your imagination.
