That's great.

The only thing that I think sucks about crushes is when you're talking to someone for a few months or so and there's this great chemistry with them. You find yourself thinking about them and missing them when they are away. Everything is going so great and so perfect. Then suddenly just like that one day its all over and you're heartbroken. You find yourself missing them more but its different now because they don't tell you they miss you back. The pain is unbearable and no matter what you do it wont go away. You tell yourself it doesn't matter but its a lie. You wonder if they even still care about you. But since they won't speak to you you just don't know. That's what really hurts. But even after all that its still great to have a crush. To get that warm gooey butterflyie feeling inside whenever they are around. Knowing even when 1 person hurts you their are 10 others that will make you feel oh so happy.

This. The "silent treatment" is more hurtful than anything that could be said.

I've had several crushes here on Lit. Some of them I just look at the photos they post and watch from afar and others I'll send a PM (if it looks like we have something in common). I guess it's pretty rare that I PM them though. It seems like the male/female ratio on Lit is heavily weighted on the male side, so I figure they're just getting swamped with PM's. It's always nice when they PM you back though. Love that feeling of the excitement and the newness of it all.
