I think that, if you spend your time worrying about whether or not it's safe to crush, you'll miss the whole fun of it. We've likely all been hurt, on and off the boards. I have, certainly... on and off the boards. People come and go. So should you never pay attention to them? We're all going to die eventually. So does this mean we should never do anything?

I think there is really only one or two Litsters that I crush on but it is in a purely platonic way. I love the way they see things and if I see they have posted I will jump to see what they have said. Off the top of my head... SirWinston, Stella, and probably a few others I can't think of right now.
I really don't have any other type of crushes. I may be intrigued by someone, but if that is the case I will think of a reason to approach them and chat.

I agree - I find crushing here to be fun. Sure, feelings can get hurt, but for the most part, I think it's just good fun. I have felt used before, which really sucked, so I can also understand wanting to stay away so that doesn't happen again.
But, I'm here for fun, and find crushing - and being crushed on - to be all in good fun.
All worth it to me too.
