Curse of the Dragon God

Aasterinian

IC: Such strange words, this person has spent to much time in the woods. "Look I'm not transportation for them, I simply took them from here. As for wher they are, yes I know that they are still in the slayers, and Io has allowed me to see into it. As for you if you are impatient I will simply move you to the entrance of the cave, and you a join their group for questing. But before we go to there, I had something to do." The dragon paused and considerd for a bit. "Oh thats right I was t return the slayers home, simple enough."

The dragon closed its eyes and took a deep breath tilting its head back and then lunging it forward with a sneeze. "Sorry" The dragon cleared its head and moved the slayers bac to tere homes. "Funny that wasn't all of them." In the dragons minds eye, she invisioned the cave and explored into it. "Oh thats why, a bit unnescaerry but well. They would of died had the made it here too."

"So onto you. Don't blink or you'll miss the trip. See we are here already." The dragon geastured around the cave. "Now as I said I am not transportation. You can fly under your own power to the next spot. But as for what you'l be doing their I ill wait to share when the others get back. Oh here they are now."

Davina stood back, cleaning the gore off of her barbed chain. "Oh yes. Much more planning will go into defeating a god. This was just release of some pent-up agression. After all, charging headlong against a god is suicide"

Rohan finished cleaning his sword and sheathed it, he slung his shield over his back and picked up his axe, he then lit his pipe and turned to the others. "What fun!" he said jovially, i havent killed so many in awhile, quite refreshing. Let us move on." he said as he started walking

Lars

Lars wandered the hall to the bodies. He looked down, and nudged a body with his boot. He looked across the carnage, and sighed to himself. They weren't even armed. Not even a hunting knife among them. He shook his head, and started off towards the enterance to the cave, shaking his head and thinking about how doomed the village was.

At the very least they wouldn't have to deal with the Hunters for a while. Although as bloodthirsty and uncontrolled as his companions were, chances were even that wouldn't last long. Lars pushed himself, lengthening his strides, and easilly outpacing the others as he tried to get as far from them as possible.

This quest was not starting well at all. Lars looked up at the Great Messenger of Io, and glanced back at where the others were coming. He looked over, seeing the new companions around.

"Well, I surely hope you managed to get some more competant help this time, Messenger. The others seem to think with their weapons."

Lars blinked at the night sky, his vision already fading. He hissed against the dark.

IC: Aasterinian Was suprised to see a lone man come down the hall. Where were the others was there only one left already? This wasn't ment to be a dificult tassk but one readily availible to even the most simple minded group. Fallow the path and smash a marble stone, how much easier could it get. The great dragon tapped her tail on the ground impatiently waiting for the man to arive. To her relief the rest of the group wasn't far behind.

"Good your all still alive. This next task is a bit more dificult but you'll still have the freedom to play to most plans you choose, be they carnage, subtrfuge, or diplomacy. Although all of those only go so far, so I suggest you be prepared to adapt."

"The dragon next to me is one of your people, he will be joining your quest. I suggest you transform for the next portion of your quest. As we are an island roughly a days of flight from the town you must head to."

"The town of Sar lies south of here. They have recently stolen the eggs of green dragon who lives in a swamp 2 days flight east of the town. Your task is to get the eggs back to the swamp, I don't care how you do it but you must do it before they hatch. The hatching will occur in a few days, and were you put them in the swamp I do not care. Good luck."

The dragon suddenly vanished to let the others sort out the details.

Rohan was not far behind the human, and heard the second half of the dragons intructions. He came up behind the blind one as Aasterinan left. "Bloody hell," He said, tapping the ashes from his pipe. "Blasted lizards, always playing their games with us." He started stripping off his clothing and gear and placed them in a large bag that had been designed to hold them on his back in dragon form. "By the by, greetings laddie," he said to the bronze dragon "I am Rohan MacRurik O'Donnchadh Clan Bloodaxe, who do i have the pleasure of addressin'?" he asked pleasently as he slipped his arms through the massive loops on the bag. He stood naked for a moment, his heavily tattooed, well muscled body, getting ready to change. "Aye that's right lads, it gets that big." he chuckled with a wink and began his change. His skin started turning red and grew scales as his mouth and nose extended to a beaklike form. a horn shot up from his nose and two more grew from his head and swept backward. Wings started growing from his back as his whole body got larger. Wicked claws appeared at his hands and feet and in a moment the change was over and where a well hung half-dwarf had stood moments before, a mighty red dragon stood now. For effect, he blew a great cone of fire, and laughed his strange dragon-laugh. "Well lads, lets move on shall we?"

IC: "I'll be outside." I walked to the entrance of the cave. We have 3 options, 1 attack the kingdom, 2 steal the eggs, 3 barter for the eggs. We don't have much in the way of trade, and I don't think the subtleties of theft are the strong point of any of our companions, except maybe the new guy. Does this mean attack is our best bet, it might not be after all even dragons are mortal, we all know that. We have all seen our kin die. I slid off my robe and transformed, enjoying a little bit of modesty. It seems we must discus strategy on the way there. I flapped my wings a few times and took to the air.

Davina followed the men back out of the cave, her elf ears picking up far more of the instructions than her other companions. So, they had a new adventurer, did they? Another male, no doubt. And they were to recover some green dragon eggs? Interesting. Very interesting. The eggs were to be returned to the swamp, but could be left anywhere? And with or without their presence, huh? Very interesting...

She slipped out of her clothes, and bundled them up in her cloak. They were to fly, it's it would be a shame to have to discard her gear so early. Stretching, she loosened up her muscles before allowing herself to shift. It didn't take her as long as the Half-Dwarf, but then, she was knowledgable about magical things, and that is certainly what this was.

Once she had assumed the form of the green dragon, she lazilly stretched out her wings as she always did, getting used to them once again. "I think we should try the subtle approach this time. Although none of you are accomplished theives, I know that a quick move in, and then out should net us the prize. Of course, we could always just follow the Red in through the front door, but we all know that won't work. I say, let me try diplomacy, while you lot do... whatever you want to do"

Lars

Lars spent only a moment arranging his things, quickly shifting form into a Green Dragon. He twisted his neck about, looking at the world in the black-and-white telltales of blindvision. He sighed, and pushed himself off, wings beating powerfully against the sky as he started south towards the town of Sar.

"Quite frankly," he boomed, "I don't think we should just go in attacking before we at least know why they took the eggs. Chances are this can be solved diplomatically. At the very least, let's try not to make more enemies then we have to, yes?"

Davina beat her winds and took off, flying after Lars. "Exactly. And I'm sure I can find out exactly why they did it. Although, it's probably likley that they want to rear the dragons themselves..."

IC: In short over my companions had joined me in the sky. "It's goo to fly again."

'I think we should try the subtle approach this time. Although none of you are accomplished thieves, I know that a quick move in, and then out should net us the prize. Of course, we could always just follow the Red in through the front door, but we all know that won't work. I say, let me try diplomacy, while you lot do... whatever you want to do'

Okay so the female elf becomes a green dragon, and so does Lars. Then my half brother becomes a red, and the new one and myself are bronzes. So if it comes to a siege, they'll either result to cold spells or physical prowess. In addition we lack the abilities of cold and true acid, not that acidic gas is useless or anything. On the plus side the red and the greens are large, that'll work for intimidation.

'Quite frankly, I don't think we should just go in attacking before we at least know why they took the eggs. Chances are this can be solved diplomatically. At the very least, let's try not to make more enemies then we have to, yes?'

They ere green dragon eggs. Hopefully the king doesn't want green eggs and ham. But no, that isn't likely since our time limit is hatching, not consumption. Green eggs.

I looked at Davina as she responded. 'Exactly. And I'm sure I can find out exactly why they did it. Although, it's probably likely that they want to rear the dragons themselves...'

"Possibly, off handedly though they could be trying to control the parents. We definitely need to figure out what they plan before acting. But before we get there I'd like a better pan then talk and hope for the best."

I gazed at Lars and Davina. "Perhaps we should split our forces. You two are green dragons, that may help us trick the egg holders. So you may be wise to hold in reserve. Or if we want to result to theft, the thief probably should avoid being seen with the group so we can return if need be. But these are just quick ideas not a fully formed plan."

Rohan was in the air, "It does feel kinda good to fly again." he said mostly to himself "I say I go in blazin', torch the whole place. Then two of you go in quiet like and grab up those eggs, then before ya know it we're out and toward the swamp. Whaddya say?"

Kay

IC: Sounds to me, we know who to hold in reserve. "Lets not, but that is a good back up." Suddenly I fore see trouble.
