Curvy's back at it again :)

Yes shower helped. It is paraphrased from a movie. It also had a sequel with about half the stars retruning & did poorly. It took place in a major city. Clockis ticking. BTW, you are a FOX!!!!

Glad the shower helped. Most sequels of movies suck...lots of movies take place in major cities. I'm thinking the sunglasses play a role in the movie, and the only movie I can think of is Blues Brothers., but I don't know if there was a sequel to that.

Oh and thanks! I could get used to compliments like that daily!!

1) Ding!! Ding!! Ding!! Ding!! Ding!! We have a weiner!!! It is Blues Brother's. They (Dan Ackroyd, Jim Beilushi) have just gotten the money to save the orphanage, are sitting in their car, getting ready to head to Chicago.

2) And yes they did a sequel Blues Brothers 2 After Beilushi had died. Looki how well it did.

3) Yes you are HOT FOX!!!!! Did I say the, "best not said out loud", outloud again????

Ok, pictures aren't happening tonight, long story. Let's just say I'm having issues.

BUT instead of a picture, I want to pick your brains. Those of you that have been around my thread for a while, know that I love to read, and will remember me asking this question.

What are your all time favorite books and what book(s) do you think that everyone should read?

I'm working on my 2012 reading list and putting some books on there that I've been putting off reading. I'm looking for more suggestions as well.

I love this!

I Shall Not Hate by Izzeldin Abuelaish has been really amazing so far. It's about a Palestinian doctor trying to bridge the gap between his people and the Israelis through medicine, and you get a really good look into a place abotu which not much is ever said or written -- the Gaza Strip. Really enjoying it.

Other than that...
Brave New World -- Aldous Huxley -- the one on this list I would put into the "books everyone should read" category.
Stranger in a Strange Land -- Robert Heinlein
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and subsequent volumes -- Douglas Adams
A Farewell to Arms -- Hemingway
The Alchemist -- Paulo Coelho -- might be another required reading choice. I don't normally go for pollyanna, but it's a good story and a spirit lifting one.
Kim -- Rudyard Kipling
Cat's Cradle and Galapagos -- Kurt Vonnegut

I'm going to go take a nice, long, hot bubblebath. I wish someone were here to wash my back, and give me a head to toe massage after. Then a passionate make out session and see where things lead....I'm in the mood to be seduced tonight.

Doesn't sound like you need much seducing! :)

I actually added I Shall Not Hate on my list already! There are a couple on your list that I believe I have on my to read bookshelf.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to this dirtygentleman!

Happy New Year!!!! I hope you all had a fun and safe New Year's Eve. I had to work and didn't get home until about 10 minutes to midnight. Then I crashed the party my two sisters were having and convinced everyone to go out and have a snowball fight since the fresh snow was perfect for making snowballs! Oh my word, great fun. And yes, I was out there in my wedges, skirt and everything, lol. Managed to rip my skirt, but man it was a blast! Fantasic way to ring in the new year if you ask me!

Sorry I've been a bit scarce lately. I am also way behind on PM's. Please forgive me!

Hehehe...Somehow you don't seem so innocent---meant in a good way, of course ;)
