Well, crap, I wasn't the first one this time.

I voted other. Even though the fame and fortune would be nice, I like my privacy and when you're in one of those categories, you're under the microscope on a daily basis. I don't want my life ripped apart in the tabloids, people lurking in the shadows to get a pic of me doing something wrong.

I'll stay invisible. I like it much better.

^^ exactly that. And I'm a huge klutz, so they'd definitely catch some awful pics. :)

I have way too many skeletons in the cupboard...not that I'm ashamed of a lot of it, but the way the press operates these days and that nothing appears to have changed post Leveson, I wouldn't subject my family to some of my darker secrets...

Actor...it would be a lot of fun and if you are really good, they will be talking about you for years.

I voted other- I'd rather not be famous at all. The idea of fame is one that makes this privacy loving introvert's skin crawl. NO THANK YOU! I'll happily live my life in relative obscurity.

Ha - no one's voted politician. I'm guessing too many skeletons in the closet amongst this crew for that.

I voted other because I would absolutely hate to be famous

But in terms of skill...musician please ...

If I had to be famous I would choose athlete because at least then I would be in good shape :)

The other vote is interesting to me. Only because to be an athlete or actor or musician you have to have the mentality of being in the limelight. To me being famous is just pay of it. You never heat negative stuff about Tom Hanks or Derek Jeter who are both famous but are smart to stay out of the negative press.

I have no need or desire to be famous but I wish I could wake one morning with the ability of an Olympic swimmer. I have taken lessons but alas I probably will never be a comfortable swimmer.

I went with Musician. Not to be famous, but to be Good enough to be famous.

I voted the category because of the talent, not the fame. I would love to have the level of ability where my skill was 'famous'. Couldn't care less about the actual fame. In fact, I couldn't think of anything much worse than being a 'celebrity'.

Being famous as an athlete is pretty short lived.

Anybody with integrity & strength of character would never be famous as a politician.

I'd be as a writer & public speaker.

I'm not sure that's true ...musical virtuosity for music's sake and not for performance has validity ...I'm sure it does

Musician for sure but every time I practice the guitar I only learn the beginning of the song.... I can play the first few chords to ten different songs now..

I rather be a famous Scientist. I can change the world and the rags still won't bother me. lol

I picked musician, but I think I'd settle for being regionally famous rather than widespread famous.

I picked musician...

music lasts generations, and mean all sorts of different things to different people.

Nothing can take you back to a moment like a song. The thought of creating something that could stir such emotions is quite alluring.

I think it would be a great way to express yourself if you could write songs too.
