Well, happy Saturday. Today's to do list. Laundry, easter cupcakes, PE bingo, nature scavenger hunt, make giant eggs, paint my nails. The giant eggs, wasn't going to, but it has become controversial, so now I must. Ok, town has about 1000 people in 400 houses, 2 stop lights, but really only one is needed. The second exists primarily so we aren't a one stop light town. most roads are more back roads except for 2 main roads. Covid has cancelled the egg hunts, so some of the parents decided to do a driving egg hunt. The kids make big cardboard eggs to put in their front yards, and next weekend parents drive around and kids can count the eggs.

Now again this has become very controversial, some samples of the argument against

Keep your kid's home and parents act like parents and follow the Dam rules and save your family from this dangerous and Deadly virus !! Stay home period and stop making excuses... - isn't it air born ?? doing this is Dangerous and Deadly to us all !! - It could be coming out your car vents and seeping into our homes. - You cant have contact with people so you cant do this. You would still have contact with other people even if you stay in your car because people are in the car like the kids aren't driving the car. - You can pick this up by touching surfaces, how are you going to get in your car without touching it? - omg, it this happens Everyone will have PTSD - OMG This could be a Terrorist Attack from another country like NORTH Korea, Iran ETC..

and now the final post...In light of the Governor’s executive order today to stay at home, let’s change our driving egg hunt to a walking egg hunt. Walking and biking are allowed under the executive order. You are also allowed to drive to a place that you want to walk or bike. We are allowed to take walks to get exercise. Therefore, hunt for those eggs in our neighborhood as you take a daily walk!! To be very clear - this is NOT A TRADITIONAL EGG HUNT. Do not take the eggs. Anyone who wants to can make an egg from paper, wood, cardboard and place it in your yard or window where it is visible from the street. Families will take walks and take pictures of the eggs.

And the naysayers now seem satisfied that it is walking/biking/ or driving to a place to walk and it has as such become less deadly...or so it seems. I am just staring at this exchange, have no intention of driving around, but the kid and I are now going to make some giant easter eggs in order to further the underlying terrorist agenda. See, the original poster was wrong. North Korea nor Iran are attempting to take over bumblefuck redneck florida. This is actually a plan orchestrated by Mr. Puffball and Mrs. Fluffermuffin in order to insure the eggstermination of all those who stand in the way of them becoming the rightful rulers of bumblefuck and eggs getting the respect they deserve (Mr. Puffball and Mrs. Fluffermuffin are two of my kid's chickens)
