Dark Isle

OOC: I would love for the story to go on something tells me it may be done though...weep weep.

She smiled as he stumbled over his words. Then he kissed her and her mind went to mush. She threaded her fingers through his hair moaning softly into his mouth. She couldn't believe this was happening. She couldn't believe she was in a mans arms clinging to him as he gave her immense pleasure by only a kiss. Her lips parted and her thoughrs scattered as his tnongue invaded her mouth. Once again she moaned surprised the sound was coming from her mouth. But at the moment she could care less the only this that mattered was this man, his mouth and this moment.

Ooc: Last I checked, Morgoth's character is still reaking havoc on the countryside. The story didn't go anywhere, just people stopped posting.

Joe pushed back one more time, looking at her closely. In the bright light, she looked so beautiful. Like an angel that had fallen into his bedroom.
"Listen, it's the middle of the day, and I need to go get some supplies. Would you like to come with me? There's a little drug store about a couple of miles up the road, it's been abandoned for years but there's still plenty of good stuff in there."
He didn't want to leave her side, but important matters did call. He couldn't very well ignore the fact that he had to live here.
Oh those soft lips.
He kissed her again.
"If not, you can just stay here with Bruno."

Ular'kle was standing still. He felt wrong, different. Suddenly, he doubled over in pain, clutching at his chest. Black tears poured from his eyes, and when he opened his mouth, an unholy howl burst forth. It settled, and he could stand up again, but the oain was still there. It was horrible, worse than anything he had ever felt before. Black light began to seep through his red eyes, and his vision became distorted. Now a hunger, equalling or becoming even greater than the pain rocked him. "Must feed!" he gasped out. A black inscription tattooed itself into his left arm suddenly. It was that of a sword surrounded with winding thorns. Somehow, the thorns began to grow. They coiled around his chest, where his heart was, and as suddenly as they came, they stopped growing. The hunger was still immense, and the pain still filled him, coming at the same time from a hundred directions and from none. He began to hunt. But with each fresh kill, his hunger increased and the pain worsened. And the black thorns lengthened. They would grow towards his stomach, then towards each leg, then the head, then the arm, then they would grow back to the chest.

Javen

"Don't go."
"I must...the king summons me..." I reply.
"It would be for the better should you not go."
"I must," I return.
She's silent for a few seconds. I turn to her to see tears running down her cheeks, though she made no sound.
"Jade, things will work out as they must. The king will listen to reason."
"Yes, but the Prince will not, and if he stands against you, the King will side with his son."
I had no reply. She was right, and I knew she was.
I thought about this for a few moments.
"Maybe it is best if you informed the others that it may be time for us to leave here..."
She nodded, leaving the room immediately.
I remained in silence, in the dark, for a few minutes, gathering my wits for whatever might lie ahead, then I headed for the King's throne room.

OOC: I figured I don't know how much longer this thread will last so I left it kind of open for me.

Lucas began to cough as a terrible pain ripped through his stomach. He double over to the ground and thrasheed in pain as his body shifted between human and panther form. He could no longer control his transformations. He began to talk as the land around him grew dark...

Lucas awoke an hour later in his panther form. He couldn't think of anything but food. "Who am I....where am I...." The proud panther disappeared into the jungle, forgetting about vampires and werebeasts all togethor.

Dawn almost cried out in protest when his lips left hers but she held it in. When she mentioned leaving she considered what she should do. Then deciding she smiled at him "I'll go with you, I feel safer when I'm with you" she kissed him softly then pulled away forcing herself to calm down. "So where exactly is this place?"

He got up, walking over to the closet. Inside he found a coat that looked about Dawn's size. Throwing it over to her, he put on his own.
"It's just a little shop about a mile or two down the road. It's a damn shame I lost my car last night. Can't be helped, we can take the atv's though. They should be revved up and ready to go."
Outside, he felt a bit bad going through the portal. It felt nice not having to worry about things. That wasn't how life was here though, being worried is what kept you alive.
He peeled a tarp off, and two practically new four wheelers came into view.
"I got them from a big bike store in some city. They are always a help out here, especially when just about everything is a couple of miles away."
Getting on, he started his up.
"You have driven before, haven't you?"

Dawn slipped on the jacket and followed him outside. "You have driven before right?" he asked. She hesitated a moment. Ya she had driven just not one of those things. Finally she nodded a slight smile curving her lips. She ignored the usually slight sickness she got when she walked through a safety feild. " Lets go"

It took nearly a half hour before they reached the market. It was a run down general store that met where two hiway's crossed. The wood was old and faded, and it seemed to lean to one side heavilly. It looked as if the time of monsters had really taken it's toll on this building, but in reality it hadn't changed much.
Hell, a nice paint job and it would look just like it had before all of this started. A sign in the front promised fresh worms for a dollar thirty-five. Great big earthworms, the kind that would drive any kid wild with imagination. Worms weren't on Joe's mind though.
Dawn was.
What?
Where had that come from?
No, supplies. They had needed some supplies. Apart from being a general store, it also had a gas station. He picked up a couple of five gallon cans, hauling it to the pumps.
"Listen, there's plenty of stuff we need inside. Boxed food, canned goods, even some soda if you feel we should need it. You are such a great cook, I think I'll trust your judgement. Might even take a look out back, the man that ran this store had a small garden. Might get some fresh vegetables."
He propped open a large tub from the ground. The pumps had long sinces stopped working, he would have to do this the old fashioned way. Grabbing a long hose, he took it to his mouth.
The foul smelling taste hit him as he moved it to the first can. Damnit, he hated that part.
Spitting and gagging on the taste, he took a piece of gum into his mouth. It wasn't much, but it would help. At least until he could thoroughly wash it out.

Dawn smiled at him feeling a warmth fill her body. She turned and hurried into the store. grabbing some bags she filled them with whatever she could think of. She even grabbed some candy for her sweet tooth. When she was sure she had everthing she needed she went out back. It was quiet and shrouded in foilage. The sun was blocked by an overhanging canopy and shuddered as the light slowly dissapeared. Hurrying to her task she collected as many vegatibles she could find. Turning she was about to go back to the front when a shadow stepped in front of her. He was tall his hair dirty and half covering his eyes. His teeth were rotted and his breath caused her senses to react so violently she gagged. she opened her mouth to cry out but his dirty hand covered her mouth. Struggling she was surprised at his strength as he held her tightly "hello pretty girl, come to say hello to freddy, how about I show you how I say hello to pretty girls" he chuckled and run a hand down her chest she shuddered in revulsion and bucked against him. He grunted but held on good. An idea hit her. She closed her eyes and relaxed her entire body. Then she let her anger flood her being and her skin slowly heated. At first he smiled "getting hot for me" he said but when her skin continued getting hotter his hold on her faultered. Soon her skin was skalding and he gave a shout and jumped away. "Bitch!" he cried staring at his burnt hand "I'm to hot to handle bastard!" she hissed at him then called out to Joe as she took off running.

Joe finished, putting the cans back on the back of his Quad. A nickname for a fourwheeler. It might be a canadian name, but he wasn't sure?
He wasn't sure of anything anymore.
Dawn called out to him. At first he thought it was a friendly call, or more of surprise. Something in it was fear as well.
"What's wrong, a big spider?"
He turned back from the corner of the building, as she ran into his arms. Looking back he saw a man cursing and holding his arm. Joe sighed, giving the man a stern look.
"Now Freddy, what on earth are you doing?"
"I was just playing Joe. Didn't know she was yours. It's been a while since I've had someone to play with."
Joe shook his head, "Keep your hands off the pretty ones, all right? Why don't you go into a city, there is plenty of flesh in there."
"I know, can't seem to find one close enough though. Come on Joe, just give me a nibble, her arm maybe?"
He took out a revolver.
"All right, fine. Jeez."
"Freddy's an old friend, but he turned into a zombie a long time ago after visiting south of the island. He's almost normal, except for the whole flesh eating thing..." his eyes studied Dawn's, "you ok?"
Freddy gave a wave as he walked off into the distance.

OOC: nice touch lol

IC: Dawn huddled close to Joe his touch comforting. Glancing back at Freddy she noticed that he did have the characteristics of a zombie. Strange she had never met a friendly on before. "Well I'm pretty sure we got everything we need. Can we please go back now?" her voice quavered slightly still shaken up from being so close to getting eaten by a zombie.

Ooc: I do what I can.

"Wait, I want you to have this," the revolver was still in his hand. Joe passed it to her, letting her palms slip over it.
"I know youhave strong magic, but sometimes it might fail you. Just keep it in case, ok?"
folding it over, he went back to grab the discarded bags. Most of what wasinside still looked good. After placing them in the back of her quad, he got atop his own.
"You go first. I'll be right after you. I just want to make sure you're safe."
The engine roared tolife.

Dawn smiled touched by his concern as she climbed onto her quad. "when we get back I'm going to make you the best dinner you have ever tasted just wait and see" she started up her quad and still smiling she headed back to the cottage.

Ooc: So, if the plot's gone, is it ok for meaningless sex?

Joe stopped the engine, leaning off. He let it cool for a moment, and then covered both vehicles up again.
"It masks the smell. You know," he looked up at the sky, seeing that the sun wasn't far from going down.
"Come on, let's hurry. Sometimes when Freddy lurks around, he attracts friends, some of them who aren't as reasonable."
Letting out a smile, he grabbed some of the grocieries she had picked out, and made his way inside, "What are you planning to make anyway?"

OOC: meaningless sex? Sure why not ;)

IC: Dawn climbed off her quad and entered the cottage a smile still hovering on her lips. "Well thats for me to know and you to find out" she brought the groceries into the kitchen and sorted through them putting them away before she began gathering ingredients. "Why don't you sit and relax dinner should only take a short time, but desert on the other hand" she glanced at him a sparkle in her eye then she looked back to the tastk at hand. "lets just say desert may take a while" with that said she began cutting up vegatibles and crushing herbs. The water on the stove began to boil and she began adding ingredients. About a half hour later the soup was steeping while she set the table. "Come and get it! I hope you like it" she smiled at him as she poured him a bowl. I want your honest opinion" she sat down across from him and waited for his reply.

Soup...
Hot soup.
Yes, hot soup was in front of him. Steam rose up, filling his nostrils with a wonderful yet unfamiliar smell. What had she created?
Only one way to find out.
He dipped the spoon in, letting it come to his lips. Heat came up from it, but he blew carefully. There, just perfect. It melted into his tongue.
"Mmmm, delicious," he took another sip, "Amazing. How do you do it? Those bags weren't filled with much."
Amazing, he wasn't even sure he could make any sort of soup unless it came from a can. She was amazing though, her abilites kept surprising him.
"My compliments to the chef," he raised his spoon to her.

Dawn smiled pleased by his compliments. She stood up and walked over to the fridge and pulled out a covered platter. "I hope you like wildberry cheese cake. It wasn't easy but I was anle to scrape together the ingredients" she removed the lid revealing a delicious looking cake. She then cut it into slices and set one on his plate and a smaller one on her plate. "I know this is a bit much but I wanted to thank you for helping me like you have. And for showing me a wonderful time despite the circumstances" her smile turned somewhat shy as his gaze met hers. "I-I hope you like it" she mumbled suddenly feeling self concious.

"Wild berry cheesecake, my god," he smiled at her. Yes, certainly he would have to kidnap this woman and never let her leave his sight. She was just too valuable for him to expend.
"Is there anything you can't do?"
It was a serious question, from what she's seen she can honestly do everything. He was wondering why she needed him.
He certainly needed her.
"Here," a slight smile came to his face, as he scooped up a tiny bit of cheescake on his finger, and held it out to her, "Have a taste."

Dawn looked at his finger a moment then slowly drew it into her mouth tasting the sweetness of the cake mixed with the taste of him. Her gaze met his and she felt an instant heat flow through her as she drew back. She realized then that she had lost the ability to speak all she could do was gaze into his eyes.

He could tell from her eyes it wasn't only the cheesecake her tasted. Licking his own lips, he hurredly finished the dessert before him.
"Look," he shrugged his shoulders, "I'm not good on this whole romantic talking or anything, so I'll just be blunt."
Joe reached across the table, taking her hands in his, "I want to make love to you."

OOC: I like a man who is right to the point :)

IC: Dawn blink several times sure she had heard his wrong. Did he just say he wanted to make love to her? He couldn't have, could he? but she knew no matter how she doubted it that he did say that. The question was what was her answer? She did want to make love to him but what if she wasn't any good? Realizing how little self confidence she had she pushed aside all the doubts and met his gaze directly "I think" she searched for the right words "I would like to make love to you as well"

A noise erupted from his throat. It was more like a grunt than anything else. He grabbed her hand, nearly running into the bedroom.
There, he closed the door, pushing her body up against it.
"I've wanted to do this the moment I saw you... but we were sort of running for our lives at the time."
His lips touched hers. A golden shower of sparks was all he could see, he could feel her reacting to his touch. His body incoluntarily pushed closer to her, pinning her against the wall.
"Have you..." he broke away from the kiss, his breath nearly gone, "...have you made love before?"
At this point he didn't care, but still he had to make sure how gentle to be. Never done this himself, he wasn't too sure how gentle to be anyway.

Dawn almost giggled as he hurridly rushed her into the bedroom. He pressed her up against the wall then and kissed her. She was sure she was on fire and any moment she would be nothing but ashes. Sensations she had never experience rushed through her as she passionatly kissed him back. Breathing heavily when he broke of the kiss she almost didn't hear him when he asked if she had ever made love before. She hesitated then shook her head "no I'm a virgin" she felt almost shy now but she knew there was no backing down now and she didn't want to.
