So, we were talking about kicking off Dark Temptation again but this time I will play the character of John instead of Allejandro this time.

Yes and I have asked Shy, Luna and Dreamweaver to join us again. I hope to find some more people that might wish to be involved in this thread.

It was a great thread a year or so back and I would love to see it take off again.

We had a great crew then and I would like to see it continue.

Firstly, thank you Ms Vixen for all the effort you took to get in contact with me. It was sweet...thank you very much.

I am a little hesitant to rejoin the thread. Mostly because I am not writing these days. But, I loved this story to pieces. I guess I will just hold off on a definite answer until some other writers have given theirs, and I will make a decision then.

I am also not sure if others would like to continue writing with me. So I will leave that decision up to you guys.

I hope that is alright.

Thank you for inviting me back, I enjoyed being part of the old thread.

I'm with Luna, not sure what the basis of the storyline was but I'd like to be in.

I have gone back and read over the role I was playing. Not sure the group would want me to continue in that role, or if I was even doing it justice. She was something I had never tried before...crazy bitch. I'd happily take on a smaller role if the group likes.

The first two posts look great...

DW if you want to play the same role as you did before, I'd be pleased as punch to let you. I tried to give you as much room in that as I could in my post's telephone conversation with her.

I thought Luna would be one to jump aboard the bandwagon here, given she's missed DT as much as I have if not more. Luna, if you want to play the same character or make one of your own do tell us. Afterall I had envisioned your original character as a temporary character but your performance of her and the pleasure of working with you was too enticing to kill her off quickly. So, whatever part you desire to play in this is yours once we get to that point.

I want to keep as much the novel feel of the old thread as we can in this incarnation, and that means characters coming and going as the plot dictates.

Shy if your hesitant take your time and think it over....no pressure.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I don't think anyone did an injustice to the character they were playing. They were all great characters and everyone wrote them with such ease (it looked like ease on this side, although we all know we were pulling out our hair as we wrote them).

I do look forward to this thread again as it was one of many I have been missing.

I am thinking I will keep some of Lilith's attributes and add my own little twist, make something new. Am off for the next two days (Friday/Saturday) so I will be sure to hammer out what I want and get her together within that time frame.

Awesome Luna. Once you get a firm idea in mind for the character put a bio or a general idea for the character so me and Vixen can maneuver the plot to introduce the character.

I'll try to hammer out a response for John either tonight or tomorrow night depending on time here in RW.

I'm with Vixen, DW...It was extremely impressive how you threaded the lines from Ezra's post in the original story my additions to them in the post here and all seemlessly in yours. Vixen is right the only word is WOW!!!

Though right now we don't have alot for Renee to do plotwise. So sit tight and we'll work on giving you an oppurtunity to proceed further unless one of you guys have an idea how to work her into the plot at this early point in the story.

Anyway I'm working on my response as John now.

Right now we've accomplishing setting up the world and the story's two pivotal protaganists John and Trinity, next up is expanding that with complications like meeting the story's antagonists and subsidiary characters.

Luna do you want to be on the bad guys' team again and if so do you have an oppinion on who you want to play him? How about you DW, Vixen? Any thoughts on who we want/who can take over Allejandro?

Birth Name~She Who Waits

Apparent Age~25

Real Age?~over 325 years old.

Appearance~Native American or black...a combination? Long, straight, pitch black hair. Caramel skin. Wide, deep set, onyx eyes. A patrician sort of nose~long, with a slight bump. Think Greek, Roman. Small, slender. Almost boyish in looks. A natural hunter.

Personality~Arrogant. A loner who doesn't play well with others. Had came to the city on a hunt for a wendigo, back when the city was still a frontier town. Never left. She doesn't like the vampires who have claimed this place and wants them all dead. Especially the woman who runs them. However, because she is a loner, because she is arrogant? She has no real back up, no plan on how to make it happen. She considers herself a misfit. She considers others like herself? Diseased. That thought process means that she has a bit of trouble controlling her anger whenever a new vampire hunts her grounds.

Special skills~She is a natural tracker. Blends seamlessly into small crowds. Has some healing ability, some little bits of shaman lore.

A Secret~She met John a while ago, by accident.She has a reluctant amount of respect for him. Not sure why he stays with the rest of the fold when he doesn't seem to fit. She passes on information relating to new ones who break the laws in return for being persona non grata to all the others. It is a shaky truce.

I decided after much thought that I want someone who could possibly be useful to Trinity, some one who was strong enough on her own to want others like herself GONE. Not because she wants to rule, but because she hates the others and thinks they are a blight on humanity. She considers the city hers by rights.

You let me know if this is possible. If not? I will tweak her just a bit more.

Also, if we decide that Lucy ends up involved with the bad guys? It will have to be by trickery. She has a code of ethics. Very stark. Us versus them. She is a protector. Therefore, it would be possible for her to end up on the wrong side if the person has sense enough to use that protective streak against her. Her age makes her easier to manipulate, as does her loner status.

And I have NO ideas on who could play Alejandro as well as you did, V. Let me think on it.

I tried to talk Veroe into taking on both roles because I couldn't think of anyone that could do Alejandro justice.

I will have to lean toward you three finding someone as the ones I write with, most are busy and another has taken a much needed break. My 'good writer' list shrunk while I was away.

Oh and Shy won't be able to join us due to RW issues. I completely understand and wish her all the best...I will miss her but maybe when time is on her side we can do something together.

He's agreed to keep secret her presence in the city ofcourse, but knows Renee would never allow Lucy to live in her territory without using John to force her to pledge her fealty to her.

I am sad that the Shy one could not resume her part. Would have been nice to have as many as the old crew together as possible. I am wondering if Noon would be willing to take on A. (The problem is he works like I do and his writing suffers because of it, sometimes.)
