Daydream_weaver's Refuge

The sky grows darker...changing from summer blue to a deeper richer shade...light shining through sapphire...and the clouds begin to gather...

*I see them, in my mind's eye, slowly growing on the horizon...building one atop another...rolling together, entwined, intimate. The tension building in me as they grow...low in my belly*

They fill the sky, covering the sun, and yet its heat still penetrates...it calls the moisture...from the earth, from our bodies, to the air, into the clouds

*a bead of sweat trickles down my bare spine as the clouds gather in the sky above my refuge*

I see what she sees. I sense and feel, forces rising, coming, marching, pulling. I stand, I watch weaver's body, I can see the power building within her, using her spirit, her flesh. I sense it in me too, just above my womb, a swirling, spreading, reaching for my limbs like a building orgasm.

The redness of my skin fades, I feel my toes sink into the ground, my feet connect, and my mind rises on Weaver's words as I allow myself to open.

And in the distance, a soft rumble...a hint of a growl...the beast calling a soft question, who will come and play...

*a gentle sound rolls toward us as the clouds darken and thicken above, the air vibrates in anticipation...waiting...my voice whispers into the sudden quiet*

we will...

*a deeper sound, a longer rumbling growl, closer now...an answer perhaps. The clouds move faster, racing toward us, searching us out and filling the sky above our heads...we have called, the storm has answered.

Without thought my arms lift toward the sky as if to embrace the clouds, my body tight with some unnamed emotion*

There! That tingling as if soul and body both are expanding. There it is again, I shiver against the wind, back arched. My arms follow Weavers in a great sense of ... worship... that is the only word that fits. Such an incredible presence.

The clouds are full...ripe. The air thick with moisture...and the skies open...

*droplets of water begin to patter the ground around us, slowly at first then faster and with more force. It soaks into our hair, runs over our skin, tracking the plains and curves of our bodies like small eager tongues...tasting, discovering*

The storm has found us...the beast has come to play...

*my fingers splay outward and a shaft of light streaks across the clouds, there is the clean scent of the rain, the charge of the lightning in the air, the hint of danger that causes my back to bow and my voice to cry out as the crashing sound of thunder follows hard on the heels of the light.

The air shakes and trembles around us, and once again the lightning flashes outlining the shapes of the clouds, showing the wildness that looks down on us with glowing eyes filled with delight...

The crash comes, the bass sound that makes the earth itself vibrate beneath our feet. My voice rises again in harmony with the call of the storm as it casts me to my knees...my breath fast and shallow, my body weakened and yet strong.

I turn my head and gaze toward Angel, my hair wet tendrils across my face and plastered over my shoulders and down my bare chest*

The first of the rains take my breath away and the sheer raw power in the air sets my hair on end. I too scream as thunder crashes around me, such a sound cannot be denied a response. The smell of ozone deep lies deep in my nostrils, pungent and otherworldly.

I feel it, I sense it. More than power.... life. It burns in my soul and when she looks at me, I can tell she feels it too. I can see it in her, I can hear it like electricity crackling through her deceptively delicate frame. My feet propel me forward, arms wrap around her. Soaked, glistening, water like molten silver running down our bodies, I pull weaver into a kiss and let our souls touch.

*Raising my hands to cup Angel's face I deepen the kiss, but there is no demand, no underlying intent to take it any farther, simply a celebration of feeling. My lips melt to hers, my tongue dips and dances and tastes her mouth. When I draw back the thunder rolls again, farther away now, moving on to another playground.

I throw back my head and laugh, the rain filling my eyes and rolling like tears of joy over my cheeks. My arms hold her gently and I bring us to our feet, a smile that cannot be dimmed lighting my face*

Thank you, sweet Angel...thank you...

There, within the maelstrom, lip upon lip, spirits entwined, the calm. The place between desire and satisfaction, between hunger and satiety. I exist only there for an eternal moment. And then I feel her joy rising and mine responding in kind. It bubbles up from both of us and fills our lungs with laughter.

Joyous freedom, I take her hands and pull her into a circular dance, biding a joyful farewell to the retreating storm.

*Still laughing softly I keep her hand in mine and lead Angel inside. Thick soft towels await us on the arm of her previously vacated chair and I take one up, offering it to her. I seat myself back on the floor and start to towel my own hair dry, my eyes shinning happily*

I don't think I am quite so jealous of my daughter getting a storm now...

I dance along behind Weaver, like a school girl skipping across the yard. Towel in hand, I dry my body and wrap soaked hair like a turban. Eschewing the chair, I prefer to sit on the floor close to weaver, grinning like a mad woman.

"THAT was incredible! So much more than I ever expected!"

*rubbing thick strands of hair between folds of my towel I smile over at her, feeling very content, almost drowsy*

So I see...an added bonus.

I really enjoyed that. There's just something about a storm....

It seems to have completely relaxed me though, I find myself wanting to snuggle up in my bed and sleep... *I pause for a moment then speak in a soft voice, almost a whisper*

You could stay, if you like. Just to share space and snuggle together for a time...nothing more...

I rise quietly "I think a night here would be really nice and I never turn down snuggles, its just not done." I wink playfully and allow myself to be led, feeling an accomplished exhaustion and already sensing the approach of the dream lands.

*candles wink out behind us as we move into the alcove until there is only one left burning beside the bed. I fold back the quilt glancing at her with a shy smile*

I am sure I have something you can wear to sleep in if you need...I usually don't, but will if you prefer...

Angel remembers to blush, barely. "If its okay, I like how I am now. Just skin and sheets and warmth." She climbs in and turns to face Weaver, her expression radiates both happiness and calm.

*smiling I untie the sarong I still wear and drape it over a nearby hook. I climb into the bed and slide my arms gently around her, tucking her against my side and brushing a light kiss over her forehead. The last candle flickers and goes out leaving us in warm darkness*

Good night, sweet Angel...sleep well...

...good night, may my sisters guide your dreams

My day was hot and tiring, sweet Angel...not bad, just tiring. *stopping myself just before patting Angel's shoulder I step over to the kitchen area and take down three tall glasses from the cupboard*

Sounds fishy to me, Raven. But I've never dealt with DHS before.

*There's a clink of ice against glass, the sound of liquid pouring, and I return to the sitting area with a tray of drinks. I hand Angel one then turn to Raven with a quizzical smile* ...thirsty? Alright Raven...I think the librarian appeals to me most...

*smiles* You want to post the intro then?

*Cupping a mug of steaming hot chocolate between my hands I slip out onto the back decking. The evening air holds just a hint of chill, an inkling of things to come. Summer still holds sway, but Fall waits in the wings.

I settle onto a lounge chair, my pale grey sarong parting to show the length of one leg. Silvery hair fans out around my bare shoulders and chest giving an illusion of modest covering. I sigh...a long peaceful breath released into the darkening sky.

The moon rises, bright and pale...not quite full. Soon, a few more days, and it will shine down in its fullness and give light to the woods. My pulse quickens slightly at the thought. What will the moon bring? There is an expectancy in the air tonight...something is coming...something wild and wanton and free...and it rides on the full of the moon*

*carrying the cake inside I set it out on the counter with small plates and several forks in case any passing guests wish to enjoy some sweetness. My voice whispers to my dragon friend*...You are lucky cyber cake has no calories

*refilling my mug with creamy, steaming hot chocolate I return to my lounger on the back deck, enjoying the evening breeze, the twinkling stars and the moon floating in the sky above*

Upon the deck's ledge there is a small thud as four tiny feet land dexterously. A silky black tail is raised high.

*Turning my head toward the sound I smile, watching...waiting to see what has come to call*

A lifting of the head, tiny feet take two steps forward, sniffing the air. A sudden leaps accompanied by a bell's twinkle and a lap is found. A purr, a nuzzle and three circles turned clockwise till the precise right position is found in weaver's lap.

More purring.

*laughing softly I let my fingers find soft fur, scratching between tiny ears and stroking along a curved back*

Hello Angel kitty...come for a snuggle I see

Back and butt rise following the hand, a cheek rubs itself along a leg, then more turns and another settling.

Purring continues.
