I mean, back in high school I thought I was fairly smart, but reading some of these questions and answers makes me feel like a real moron. (which isn't a slam on the thread. I enjoy it when I have enough sense to seek it out. thanks, DB, and I appreciate the effort you put into this thread and the movie mania thread.)

I always put a few easy-ish questions in moon.... I myself only ask stuff I know the answers to.... but sometimes I have researched stuff I thought I knew, and find I was wrong or my knowledge is superseeded.

I suspect everyone does a mix of both... some they know. Some they research.

5. If someone posts and their answer is wrong.. they are frozen out until the next picture is posted
6. If someone is beaten to a correct answer they are still frozen out until the next picture.
7. If two people get an answer in exactly the same time, they each get a point.
8. If anyone answers more than one, the question will be void.
9. NO EDITING OF POSTS...... Leave typos. If something is edited your answer will be void, as you could have edited a right answer in over a wrong one for all I know.
