This isn't really advice ... it's just a rambling thought from my mind with no good place to really post it :eek:

Skme and I have been thinking that this year for Christmas we want to steer our boys away from the *gimme, gimme, gimme* mindset. Our munchkins are so spoiled and have anything and everything their hearts desire. So ... last night we presented them with an alternative to gift giving this year.

We have proposed that instead of buying and giving massive gifts of toys and worthless things that will be played with for 2 weeks then discarded, this year we will minimally exchange needful gifts and put the money we would have spent to a different use.

Saved Money + Spring Break = Caribbean Cruise :nana:
