Dear Sprinkles ....

Oh yea, youngun with broke arm is doing great *same one I fixed computer for*. He had his cast taken off this past Monday. The Ortho doc only made him wear it for 10 days, plus the 7 days he'd worn the soft cast when it was a new injury.

I also got him signed up today for summer league baseball. He lives and breathes baseball and football. He's a stronger baseball player than football, tho.

Our younger one didn't want to play this year. He's not the athletic type, at least not team sports. I want to get him involved with Karate; I think he would enjoy that.

LOL ... I don't know what I'd do with a girl if I had one. We are an *all boy* family. Broken bones, cuts, bruises, contact sports and dirt .... LOTS OF DIRT :p

Wow - short time for a cast! Lucky him. :)

*gasp* YOU'RE A BOY???? Why didn't you tell me!?? :D hehehehe ... I'm sure you'd adapt if you had a girl ... or she'd be tomboy! :D

Ooops, you figured out my secret.   And I always thought the first 3 letters of my name would give it away ;)

I don't know if a little girl would be a tomboy .... or if she'd be a spoiled princess like me ..... it's hard to say :)

.... speaking of manly women, last night we went for dinner at a Japanese restaurant and I had two women sitting beside me on the long side of the table and S was at the end, so he had a full view of the two beside me .... I heard my cellphone text message alert chime so I checked to see who had messaged me .... it was S, about to gag at the dykeness of them.

He says he's all for pretty lezbians, but these two were not!!!! He says anytime I want to turn lez, he'll be 100% supportive  :p

TTYL ... sorry, got caught up on the phone with G'ma, who had an exciting day. Neighbor across the street's house caught on fire this morning, while neighbor was out of town . G'ma noticed smoke billowing from the roof and called 9-1-1. Now G'ma is a hero :)

Yay for G'ma! Was there a lot of damage?

I can't go to the store yet - I seem to have misplaced my wallet.

There was a good bit of damage, but the house is not a total loss. The floor furnace ignited the hardwood flooring, which ignited the ceiling above and then the roof. It burned in a mostly veritical pattern, which is kinda neat that it didn't branch out side to side before the fire dept arrived.

Uh oh! Did you find your wallet yet??

Very lucky that it isn't a total loss.

Yes ... I left it at school in the restroom. A friend is getting it and picking it up for me. 8-| I'm such a dimwit sometimes ...

No, you're not stupid! Everyone makes mistakes, and when we're stressed and distracted, mistakes are even easier to make!! :)

He was out with friends having a good time. That was a condition of allowing the slumber party - he didn't have to be there.

Wise of him huh? I just didn't think he'd get in at 0630! Just as well he did - I assume he sobered up a bit before coming home.

Yes, the sobering up would be a good thing .... altho, the hangover would be hell if you had 8 yr olds running all thru the house
