Dearborn: Muslim Company Forcing Christian Employees To Wear Headscarfs

HAHAHAHA! Good job busy body. Here's your "story".

Here's the truth. You got fooled and OWNED.

The Daily Currant is an American satirical news blog that focuses on politics, technology, and entertainment. A number of its satirical stories have been taken for true news reports by press.

I never said you did...that was a thread update. I was right, you do have a reading problem.

You're the one who thinks Christians are victimized in M'uricuh...LOL you're the one who needs to put the pipe down.

Yet you think think it's ironic?? Have you ever read 1A or pondered it's meaning?

So you agree then that the law should be applied equally and every other religion has every right to cram their religion up their employee/consumers ass as far as they deem necessary to get their religious feel goods right?

You're ok with Moozlemz n' atheist FIRING Christians for not conforming to their rules right??

RIGHT????:D Or is it still "hypocritical" and "ironic" that other religions can and will use these laws to the same end as Christians??

LOL you think I'm spun up and foaming at the mouth!! Could you be more full of yourself??:D

Only because you're so ineffective at communicating any kind of one......

You're like miles....lots and lots of talk without saying much if anything.

Circular arguments....running around with the goal post...unsure about what your discussing.....

I actually had a point by point answer for most of this but, I was away at a seminar for part of the week and when I had time again to finish my reply I'd had a power outage and lost it. Besides it really wouldn't have mattered anyway.

Do you or do you not support religious freedom? Let's start there....

Easy enough:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

So the short answer is yes, as long as the the law is administered fairly and equally.

Personally, I don't care who you worship. Be it Allah, Vishnu, Christ, Trees, Budda, Zeus, Athena or want to don werewolf masks and whop each other over the head with live kitty cats. As long as you are not breaking any laws that would land the average person in jail or is in some way blatantly discriminatory, I don't care what you do.

Also, religious law cannot usurp common law. IE. you can't go cutting the heads off of infidels, sacrificing virgins, stoning adulterers to death, harming/abusing the kitty cats or any other scriptural law that if happened in the secular world would land you in jail.

Obviously, given the Political climate these days, this subject is more complex than that.

OK so that being said why do you think it's a bit hypocritical for a terrifying moozlem to use the exact same law to the exact same ends as Christians??

Why all the RW Christian outrage over other religions showing up when they pass approval to proselytize at public schools?? Is that hypocritical of everyone too?

Obviously, given the Political climate these days, this subject is more complex than that.

Ding ding ding ding!! Now are you starting to see why the rest of the free world stepped back from the US 'conservative' Republicans and collectively went "OMG  what the fuck are you morons DOING!!?!?!?!?!?!?" when they pushed for a super broadly worded law that allowed business owners to basically get as fire and brimstone as they like just short of harming others in the work place all in the name of religious freedom?? Oh except for scarrrrrry Moozlemz....fuck them.... apparently if they take advantage of the law it's hypocritical and evil right?

OK so that being said why do you think it's a bit hypocritical for a terrifying moozlem to use the exact same law to the exact same ends as Christians??

"Terrifying moozlem" as you put it has nothing to do with it. I could have used druids or vegans and it would have been set up the same way. But let's face it, no one gives a shit about them do they.

Why all the RW Christian outrage over other religions showing up when they pass approval to proselytize at public schools?? Is that hypocritical of everyone too?

Okay, so where has this happened?

I don't recall seeing anything about schools allowing anyone to "proselytize" at a school sponsored event.

Now this isn't to say it doesn't happen in some bible thumping backwater somewhere, but I don't pay much attention to what "those other people" are doing unless it gets to the point that it starts to effect national policy.

My focus is what the local school district/state is doing.

Ding ding ding ding!! Now are you starting to see why the rest of the free world stepped back from the US 'conservative' Republicans and collectively went "OMG  what the fuck are you morons DOING!!?!?!?!?!?!?"

Yeah, yeah, yeah... I get it rep/conservatives = BAD. dems/liberal = GOOD. That meme has been going on for the better part of 20+ years and frankly, neither side has proven that they are "for the people" or are "working for our best interest".

when they pushed for a super broadly worded law that allowed business owners to basically get as fire and brimstone as they like just short of harming others in the work place all in the name of religious freedom??

What law are we talking about specifically?

Oh except for scarrrrrry Moozlemz....fuck them.... apparently if they take advantage of the law it's hypocritical and evil right?

I think you missed the point of what I originally wrote. The point was, in that hypothetical situation, why would it be okay for this one business owner to enforce a rule like that and not another. Further, why would it be okay for one side to get a pass and the other to have (insert protesting group here) all over them objecting to said action.

Now do you get it?

There are a lot of dress codes out there. Some company names and logos include religious symbols. Fusses aren't often made over them.

No shit Sherlock...

The power of observation doesn't get past you does it.

They aren't the ones that all teh RW Christians freak shit over no.

But then again they aren't very fond of the others either.

Okay, so where has this happened?

FL.....they wanted Jesus in schools so bad they said OK!! Then shit brix when all the other crazies showed up to the schools. So instead of repealing it what did they do? They just excluded other religions....turned it into a Christian privilage law because that's religious freedom to the RW>

I never said a fuckin' thing about the people or best interest or even that one party is better than the other over all...

The topic is religious freedom. A topic the RW has a strong record of going against freedom for anyone but Christians.

What law are we talking about specifically?

The only one that let's 'small closely held' corporations to get as Jesus n' GAWD!! as they want.....as long as it's Christian, and fuck everyone else. At least that's how the GOP wants it...they get ultra fucking pissed at anyone else who would DARE treat them the way they like to treat others.

Oh I get it...that's what's so funny. You're hypothetical isn't based on anything real thought.

Christians wanted fire and brimstone in the workplace....they got it and the very idea of a Moozlem doing the same thing they want to do send them into fucking fits.

No shit Sherlock...

The power of observation doesn't get past you does it.
Why, thank you.

I also happened to notice that there are quite a few people protesting a Muslim business owner enforcing a dress code, despite your claim that nobody did.

So?

Does that make it any better?

Either you have religious equality and freedom to practice it as you see fit or you don't. The hypocrisy runs both ways.

LOL he's such a partisan religious whack job he thinks a moozlem doing the same thing as Christians is a double standard!!! LMFAO!!!

Is it also hypocrisy for a liburhul to have free speech just like a good ol' GAWWWD fearin' white Chrstchun mayuhn!!??

Could you actually give me a reference? I'd really like to see how they crafted that one. Since it would seem that there is a violation of "separation between church and state"*

*Before anyone goes off on this, I know that the so called "wall of separation between church and state" was not enumerated in the first amendment. The concept was put forth in Jefferson's letter to the Danbury Baptists in 1802.

I never said a fuckin' thing about the people or best interest or even that one party is better than the other over all...

The topic is religious freedom. A topic the RW has a strong record of going against freedom for anyone but Christians.

Then stick to the topic.

What you think about "how conservatives have fucked up the world" is irrelevant.

Specific law or case please?

Oh I get it...that's what's so funny. You're hypothetical isn't based on anything real thought.

But that is what hypothetical is all about. Sure it doesn't exist in this case because we all know the story is fake. But that doesn't mean the precept and reaction is false.

Christians wanted fire and brimstone in the workplace....they got it and the very idea of a Moozlem doing the same thing they want to do send them into fucking fits.

It goes way deeper than that. It is a pretty good bet that this will come before the courts again before long.

Is it also hypocrisy for a liburhul to have free speech just like a good ol' GAWWWD fearin' white Chrstchun mayuhn!!??

Then explain how it isn't. And please try to speak english.

Could you actually give me a reference?

I'm not a community college professor here to spoon feed you info...you can google like a big boy too.

But that is what hypothetical is all about. Sure it doesn't exist in this case because we all know the story is fake. But that doesn't mean the precept and reaction is false.

That's what I've been saying, but hypotheticals have to have relation to the topic otherwise you're just ranting about moar irrelevant bullshit based upon a false premise.

It goes way deeper than that. It is a pretty good bet that this will come before the courts again before long.

Not really.....Christian RW M'uicuh wants a Christian theocracy. It's pretty plain and simple actually.

Yep and again the courts will 'oppress' poor RW Christians again by not letting them have any more domineering legal privileges than they already have.

Then explain how it isn't. And please try to speak english.

Two people following the same law is not hypocrisy no matter how bad you want it to be. IDK why you think it's ok for Christians to get all fire and brimstone at the world place but total hypocrisy for a scary ass moozlem (or is it just brown people you dislike???) to be doing the exact same thing...enjoying the exact same laws.

Can you try to explain your position? Why is it ok and un-hypocritical for Christians to enjoy the rights/privileges and protections of a law but not other religions??

Oh and do try to speak English, which last I checked is a proper noun and thus capitalized btw you illiterate fucking retard. You can keep on the 'and speak english' kick and I can go totally grammar/spelling nazi on your bitch ass till you iggy me like the other shit heads incapable of taking what they dish...

OR you can cut the snide bullshit and we can have a civil conversation......your choice.

You made the claim. You provide the link. I don't need to do your research for you.

It's relevant to the original post. Would it have made any difference if I had reversed the situation? No. Either both sides get to do it or no one does. It's that simple.

Not really.....Christian RW M'uicuh wants a Christian theocracy. It's pretty plain and simple actually.

Some of them certainly do. I'm not disagreeing with that premise in any manner. It's fairly obvious that the Christian Coalition or whatever the hell they are calling themselves these days have co-opted the GOP. It is one of the major problems I have with them.

Yep and again the courts will 'oppress' poor RW Christians again by not letting them have any more domineering legal privileges than they already have.

I don't know if "oppress" is the word I would use, but I certainly agree that the courts need to shoot down some of the stupid shit that keeps coming along.

Two people following the same law is not hypocrisy no matter how bad you want it to be.

No shit... Nice job of miss-characterizing what I originally said.

IDK why you think it's ok for Christians to get all fire and brimstone at the world place but total hypocrisy for a scary ass moozlem (or is it just brown people you dislike???) to be doing the exact same thing...enjoying the exact same laws.

How many times do I have to state that I don't care if it is Christians, "scary ass moozlems", "brown people" or whatever tripe you keep coming up with?

Can you try to explain your position? Why is it ok and un-hypocritical for Christians to enjoy the rights/privileges and protections of a law but not other religions??

Simple. I hate hypocrites.

"Do as I say, not as I do" = hypocrite

"It's okay for me but not for thee" = hypocrite

Religious groups who bitch about other Religious groups having the same rights under the law. = hypocrites

Secular people who bitch about one Religious group and give another Religious group a pass for exactly the same thing. = hypocrites

I don't care about their race, sex, ethnic origin, politics, religion, rich, poor, white, black, red, green or six shades of purple. It's all the same to me.

Supposedly, we are all afforded the same rights under the First Amendment. But in the last 25 years or so it seems to me like everyone wants squander this right in an effort to "not offend anyone".

That said, if all of this makes me a hypocrite as well then so be it.

You're entitled to your opinion.. Just like everyone else.

Oh and do try to speak English, which last I checked is a proper noun and thus capitalized btw you illiterate fucking retard. Oooooohh, big bad keyboard cowboy... What are you gonna do?

Take away my birthday?

OR you can cut the snide bullshit and we can have a civil conversation......your choice.

Right. So says the guy who throws snide comments and snark with just about every turn..

Civil conversations run both ways...

Right. So says the guy who throws snide comments and snark with just about every turn..

So you really actually agree with everything I've said and don't the next. You say you think we should all be treated the same under the law but then you call it a hypocritical double standard for moozlems to have the same rights, privileges and protections Christians enjoy under the law. You even seem to support Christians having SPECIAL legal privileges, but then you don't....then you do then you don't...Then you claim you're not bigoted when you point blank are....because right after you're not.

Seems you are just arguing for the sake of being an argumentative shit or you just don't know what the fuck side of the situation you stand on.......do kill yourself.

Spin, spin, spin....

Gotta keep lookin' for that boogieman 'cause there be dragons and shit...

I'm not looking for a boogieman......I just don't think Christians should have special legal rights/privileges/protections, you seem to think otherwise....sometimes...mostly just when you're being called out for it.

BTW you still have yet to explain why a hypothetical moozlem enjoying the same law as Christians is hypocritical......

Can you even state your position in a clear, concise manner? Are you capable of such a feat?

I don't really expect you too, but it would be fun to watch you try to explain how two people from different religions enjoying the same exact religious freedom makes one of them hypocritical.....or how you're not a bigot for saying as much.

Keep spinning..

What's next?

Racist?
Bigot? (whoops, you already did that one)
Homophobic?
Paedophile?
Pulling the wings off flies?

Come on man, pull out all the stops. Go off on one of those rants of yours that's full of bluster and bullshit.

Otherwise...
