Thomas Rosen
Age: 50
Height: 6'
Weight: 175
Hair: brown (goatee)
Eye: blue
Thomas stretched, looking up and down the street. Spring was coming, but not quite there yet. Still, it never hurt to get the winter cleanup started. He looked over at the pile of branches and dead plants he'd gathered. Yawning, he poked the rake at a small pile of leaves he'd obviously missed before the snows set in. This wasn't exactly the way he wanted to spend the day, but when you were a free-lance writer, these things happened. Especially when you stayed up too late finishing an article and didn't even get up until 10. That meant after-lunch yard work was mandatory.
And this is when he had time. His wife Barbara was at work, pulling a long shift today at the hospital, and likely enough, a double. They'd been short handed over there for a while. And while the overtime was nice, it left him by himself even longer. Added to that was Shelby being full time in college. Granted, it was the local college and she still lived at home, but she was taking a very heavy load of classes and didn't get home for dinner very often. Still, it was nice that everyone was engaged.
Thomas sighed and shook his head. Seriously, much more woolgathering and he'd have to commit himself to the old folks home. Chuckling, Thomas got ahold of the leaves with his rake, dragging them over to his pile of yard clutter. Pulling it all into a neat pile, he had his back to the street when he heard a car pull up, parking on the street, rather in any of the driveways. Straightening the pile of refuse next to the trash can, he turned his head to look over his shoulder.
