Delectible Daddies

Well I was inspired by the "yummy mummy" thread and decided to start this "delectible daddies" thread to give those of us men who have passed their genes to a younger generation a place to chill and hang out.

It also gives us the chance to see if the women of lit like dads as much as the men of lit like moms.

Some come on in lay down your two cents and tell us what you like about being a dad. Or what you like about doing a dad.

I will start by saying I am a very proud father of an angelic little four year old daughter. She is probably the number one reason I am a college graduate and not a drunken homeless person. She gives me reason to wake up and make every day as productive as possible.

Interesting concept, my friend. As a dad of two I'd love for it to be a roaring success. However, my gut has me worried that our ability to attract attention the way the yummy mummies do is limited. But heck, maybe I'll be wrong. The fact you dared pose the question demonstrates some serious 'nads.

As for the joys of being a dad, I think it is best demonstrated for those times when the progeny experience a sense of accomplishment about something--even if they downplay it. They can be amazing people sometimes.

Well I am afraid it is alot of dad munchies. We got nuts, pretzles, hot wings, just about anyting you can think of frying. But now that you mention it I should stock up on a lighter fare to bring in the ladies. I be back with some biscotti and some fresh fruit. What other munchies would you like?

well - while I think many ladies here would agree with me that the famous poster of the naked chested guy hoding his baby has to be one of the most gorgeous pictures ever, I'm sure none of you would want your children posted up here.

Well I'm a daddy of a 22, 19, 3, and 10 month old.

Won't post pictures here as I'm a little shy about that.

But I do really love and care for my kids (did it all around a 2nd time).

It's kind of cool being out and having chix check me out when I'm wearing my daughter. Except that I realize that they are not checking me out, they are checking her out. hehe

Nobody said you had to be naked....but in this economy, why tempt fate? Me, if I get caught out here, it'll be by another school official and then this adjunct professor will have a very interesting conversation with the one who did the catching....
