Diablo 2(for the uninitiated, there will be, once again, guidelines)

Thorr

Now, Thorr was a barbarian, member of atribe of superstitious people. However, their normal method of dealing with ill-omened things was to hack them to tiny bits. Only one part of Alic's speech stuck in his mind, such as it was: a holy relic that has the power to destroy the gods themselves

Thorr, Slayer of Gods would be a mighty name to add to his list of ancestors!

"Gods, shmods. Thorr ready! Hey, Alic... Gods have good ale?"

"Betcha Dork Knights bleed, too.." Thorr grinned happily to himself, visions of glory and divine ale running through his mind.

Orenda

Orenda chuckled at Thorr's statement but quickly sobered. "You helped me with my own quest and I will not desert you in yours."

"Thank you my friends. I know that I will need your help before this is all finished."

He turned to Morgoth and looked straight at the necromancer, "Will you help me for I doubt that I will get far without everybody acting as a group and I know that we will not get far if we go off alone- especially if we go after Andariel or she shows up to stop us which I think that she will."

Siren spoke up looking at everyone "I know none of you really know me nor do you have any reason to trust me but if you will accept me I will gladly lend you my sword and my help" she glanced around the room waiting for a reply

Thorr

"Hokay, pretty lady! You can help. You keep sword, Thorr has bigger one!" and Thorr brandished Giant-Cleaver to show that he, indeed, did have a big sword already.

Alic looked at Thorr with a smile before he laughed slightly.

"I am glad that you are coming with us Thorr because I think that we will have need of your sword before this is over. And you are most welcome to come with us milady- every sword will help."

Siren smiled feeling almost as if she belonged wich was more then she had felt in quite some time. She ran her hand through her hair brushing it out of her face as she considered that maybe she might be able to find a place to belong... just maybe.. but maybe was such a strong word.

Orenda

Orenda stood and turned to Alec. "Okay, so give us the details on where we have to go and how we get to this dark knight of yours once we arrive?"

"We have to go to the Black Mountains, which is two days ride to the east of this camp. At the base of the mountains there is a castle ruins- a place of pure evil. That is where this dark knight and the artifact are," Alic said as he got to his feet and looked at everyone, hoping that they wouldn't say no to him now or he would have to go to the castle alone as that was where he needed to go.

"Yeah, I'll go. Hey Thorr, you'd better get me some ale. Your strongest stuff. Hooo boy, my head hurts", groaned Morgoth.

Alic looked at everyone's face to see how they were feeling about there latest mission when he noticed Eliah standing there looking straight at him. She then looked down at the floor and he sat there, confused about what her look had meant. He got to his feet as everyone started to walk out of the tent and walked towards Eliah, trying to think of what to say. He looked down at her and began to say something but found that every word had left his head.

Morgoth went immediately to the tavern tent, where he began chugging ales. Almost better than Thorr.

Eliah:

Taking hold of Alic's hand, Eliah looked up into his eyes. "Thank you for saving my life Alic..." Her hands squeezed his ever so slightly.

Alic looked down at Eliah and saw the same look in her eyes that she had had earlier and felt her hand in his.

"It was my pleasure Eliah- I would do that anytime that I could. I would give my life to save yours although I hope that it never comes to that."

Eliah:

"I would never ask such a thing from you... Nor would I want you to throw your life away for the likes of me..." She seemed as though she was going to continue on but her words staled and her lips simply shook a little as she fell silent.

Morgoth finished the last of the ale and went back to his tent, amazingly sober. He fell asleep as soon as he hit the bed.

"I wouldn't be throwing my life away if I gave it up saving yours, I would do that willingly."

He looked down at Eliah's face and saw that there was something there but he couldn't quite figure out what. He took both of her hands into his and held them then led her over to sit down underneath a tree and looked at her again, trying to think of something to say.

Siren returned to her tent her mind racing with what was happening. She thought about all her new friends... friends that was a word she never really used. Ever since her exile she had had no friends and now that she had some she would do everything in her power to help them. Even if it killed her. Her mind relentlessly turned to Morgoth and how mysterious he seemed to her. She wondered what he was like. Oh well didn't really matter.. She closed her eyes and drifted into a deep sleep.

Eliah:

"Alic... My life would not be worth your death... Please understand this? Your soul... Your beliefs... They make this world a better place... I... I only try to get by in it..." Her eyes were cast to their hands, they were still holding onto eachothers hands.

Alic looked down at their hands and saw that they were still together. He looked at her and saw that she was still looking down at their hands and said, "Out of all the people in this group you have the most spirit that I have ever seen. You have an... inner light that I can see like a beckon and I would have to say that if you were ever killed then the light would go out of this group and I am telling the absolute truth here."

Morgoth woke up continuosly, until he went to Thorr's tent. "Thorr, could you get me your strongest ale. I don;t think I am going to go to sleep tonight. The damn tent of trouble woke me up too many times", growled Morgoth.

Eliah:

"Alic..." It was almost a plead, the way she said it. She couldn't face him... She just couldn't. He had such a strong... Loving spirit... She had never seen the likes of it before... She felt almost as though she was dirty being in his holy prenence... But something about him kept her from leaving... She felt she could show him who she was, who she truly was...

"What is it Eliah. Is there anthing wrong?" Alic looked at Eliah, now worried and felt a flash of something there and tried to figure out what it was. He knew that he could find out but he had to respect her wishes and knew that if he did he would break her trust and that was the one thing he did not wish to happen as she was one of the closest people to him. He looked at her, "Eliah...I...I'm-"

Eliah:

Without another word Eliah found herself kissing Alic, she had never had such a reflex like this... With Alic it felt so right... So natural... As though it was the propper thing to do. Her heart was still in anguish from the previous night but when her lips touched his... It all melted away, as though his god were giving her peace just by touching him... She felt wrong to touch such a holy and pious man, but she needed to be close to him...

Alic sat there is shock as he felt Eliah's lips upon his. It was something that he didn't expect but he suddenly found himself responding to the kiss and returning it as if there was something right about it. As soon as they finished kissing Alic looked at Eliah,
"I- you...we just. I have been wanting to do that since- but why now?" he asked, still in a little shock.
