Diablo 2(for the uninitiated, there will be, once again, guidelines)

Orenda

Orenda, having bandaged Morgoth, hurried to Eliah's side. "No, no," She said,"You no more let her die than I did by not getting there fast enough. You tried, Eliah, you were there with her. I know she was comforted by that fact to not have to die alone."

She timidly put her hand out to smooth her hair and hoped her voice and gentle hands would give the woman some measure of comfort.

"None of us got to her in time. It is not her that came to you. She would not do that. Some evil being was trying to hurt you by using your memories. It's alright...it will be alright. You cant let whomever is doing this use you like this. Come on, your stronger than this...and you know you are."

Eliah:

Looking up into Orenda's eyes, Eliah took strength from her. She held back the pain in her heart. Her perfect blue eyes shown glossy upon Orenda. How she wanted to thank her for snapping her from her pain. She tried to reach out and touch Orenda's cheek in return but her hand faltered and fell to her side before her actions was completed. She had shown so mush emotion, it was too much pain to show more, especially in front of Morgoth and Thorr.

Orenda

Orenda's eyes met Eliah's and an understanding passed between them. Standing up, she let the amazon again gain her composure while she faced Morgoth again.

"Okay, tell us where to go and how to fight this thing. I know that our barbarian friend is ready to knock some heads together," She smiled over at Thorr,"And right now I am so mad that I am ready to do the same."

"Alec is out,"Her gaze swept down to the paladin and then over to the second amazon,"But I am sure we can find a good companion in Siren. Just give us the information on how to defeat her and lets get going. I dont think any of us want that to happen to us or anyone else in our group again."

Thorr

Having finished settling Alec into a comfortable position, the barbarian turned to his friends. "Hokay. Where evil bitch? She die now."

"Andariel is one of the Demon Lords who overthrew Diablo", said Morgoth. "Now think about this, would it be foolish or not, no matter how strong we are, to fight a Greater Demon Lord without a real Magical weapon?" he asked calmly. "Now I know we would all like to skewer the whore, but we are in no shape to. But I believe that Charsi had her Hammer Omalus stolen by the Smith, a huge Minotaur-like Demon who resides int he Monastery, only 7 floors above Andariel. The Hammer Omalus enchants weaponry with exteremely powerful magic", he added.

Orenda

Orenda nodded at the information. Looking over at Thor, she said,"So do you think you can take on a Minotaur, big guy?" and then to Eliah,"Do you feel well enough to go after this with us?"

Morgoth shook his head slightly. "We should wait until morn. The minions of Hell are always weaker in light, no matter if they cannot see it", he said.

Thorr

Thorr laughs. "Meenotower just big bull, hokay? Giant-cleaver make steaks for dinner! No grassy rabbit-food, though. Thorr not eat sissy stuff like that."

The big barbarian was confused, nothing new there, about Morgoth's claim that they needed magic weaponry. Perhaps the others made do with mundane weapons, but Giant-Cleaver had been forged by immortal dwarven smiths, under the directions of the gods of Asgard. No mortal weapon this, Giant-Cleaver had a storied history even longer than Thorr's entire tribe. Still, if it offered a chance to wade through gore, and slake his great blade's immortal thirst, Thorr was ready.

Orenda

Orenda found herself laughing at the barbarian's statement in spite of the dire situation. "I thought you might say something like that," She said,"But for now we need to finish out this night. The question is do we rest and post guards or do we stay awake in case of another attack from this demon woman?"

Looking around at her companions, she said,"Whatever we decide I suggest we not part but stay together under one tent until tomorrow."

Eliah:

"I do indeed intend to journey with you on the morrow. I don't, however, intend to sleep any longer this night..." She shook her head and stood. "I will take watch, the rest of you sleep what you can..."

And with that Eliah pushed her way from the tent and stood at its entrance.

Morgoth rose and streteched, making sure to pop every bone back into muscled place. When he finished, he walked out of the tent and went back to his tent. He sat down and thought for a while.

Orenda

Orenda sighed and sat down, shaking her head at Morgoth's insistance on being alone. Looking up at Thorr, she gestures to a spot near Alec and said,"You may as well sit down, big guy, there isnt much we can do till the morning and I, for one am not going to go to sleep tonight. I dont want any dark spectre running around in my head trying to kill me.*

Siren watched the antics of Thorr and couldn't help smiling, he certainly was unique. She then glanced at everyone her eyes taking in every face. She didn't know anyone here and would probably be better off getting out of this now but something made her stay. She realized she wanted to help these people and she hadn't wanted to help anybody in a long time... ever since.. no she wouldn't think of that. This would be a good thing she might even make friends for once. She felt a smile form on her face but quickly hid it, she wasn't ready to be open yet but who knew what would come with time.

Alic looked around at the darkness and tried to figure out where he was. He then heard a voice in his head and opened his mind to listen to it I am sending you back my most loyal of paladins for you still have work to do and you will not die this night.

"I used to much of my own life energy to heal Eliah- there is nothing that I can do to get back."

He turned suddenly when he heard footsteps behind him and his eyes widened in surprise when he saw the person standing before him as she was the most beautiful woman that he had ever seen. He went down to one knee in front of the person and she smiled, "Rise my paladin. I am going to give you the strength to get back to your mortal realm and I am also giving you a mission that you all must complete."

"What is the mission my goddess?"

"That I will tell you when you are back in your body- now go."

With that Alic found himself falling downwards and screamed out then opened his eyes to see Orenda sitting next to him. Thorr and Orenda looked down when they heard the scream and Thorr said, "You alive!"

"Yes- I'm alive. And I am very happy to say that as well."

Just then Alic moved as if lightning had hit him and Orenda looked at him but before he could say anything Alic got to his feet and looked at Thorr, "Get the others. There is something that I have to tell them."

As soon as Thorr ran off Alic stood there and shuddered- this was not going to be an easy one.

Orenda

Orenda looked up from where she had sat next to Alic. Flashing a glance of puzzlement to Siren, she addressed the paladin.

"What is this news that you have had in your sleep?," She said and then remembering her manners,"And it is good to have you back."

Morgoth sat up wearily in bed, then walked to the tent where Alic was in. "I ought to call this the tent of trouble", he groaned.

Siren watched the Paladin a look of surprise and interest in her green eyes. She had met few paladin in her life the few she had met though had been kind to her and had helped her. She wondered if Alic was the same. She sensed he had seen something in his sleep that effected him greatly. Siren's eyes met Alics for a moment then turned to Morgoth as he entered the tent. She knew this would be a long night.

Orenda

Orenda managed a half-hearted chuckle at Morgoth's comment. "Aptly put, friend necromancer," She said,"Aptly put, indeed."

Thorr

"Where trouble? Thorr fix!" The proud barbarian giant looked menacingly around the room. His gaze stopped on the pale form of his friend, Alic. "Hunh. Alic, you not look very good. You need meat! And ale! Make you big and strong like Thorr!"

"What we do now? Who we do it to?"

"I'm find for the moment Thorr although I have some grave news. I have been told by my goddess that there is a dark knight in the area who has an artifact that is able to destroy any god. I don't know what this artifact is but I do know that we have to get it at all costs and if we can destroy it but if not then we are to put it in a place that nobody will ever be able to touch it again."

Alic then sat down quickly as he felt as though his energy had been drained.

Orenda

Orenda shook her head. "Great we have to go after a dark knight and this dream lady, too. Anyone else have any more 'little tasks' for us to do?"

Eliah:

Pushing the flap of the tent aside, Eliah came in. She fixed eyes with the Alic, and he caught the flicker of... Something... In them. She lowered her eyes to the floor and a smile crept onto her lips as she rested her bow against the ground and leaned on it. With a long breath her odd smile melted away and her hawkish like eyes returned to cast about at her fellow party members. "What do you speak of Alic?" For she had been hesitent to re-enter the tent and in doing so she had missed his words.

"I have been charged with a holy crusade of sorts. I have been told by my goddess that I have to retrieve a holy relic that has the power to destroy the gods themselves from one of the most powerful dark knights of Andariel. But I know that I can not do this alone so I am asking you all if you will aid me in this- will you please help me."

Alic looked at everyone and saw the weight of his words hit everyone and he wished that he hadn't been the one to have to send them on the mission like this.

Eliah:

"I am in dept to you and your goddess Alic..." Eliah said flatly as she came a step closer to him and the others. As though that one forward step was her ascent to his quest.
