Disaster in the Making

Let’s just pretend you’re right, which of course you’re not. So, hey let’s stand back and let them all free now because....?

Because the cycle of death in the middle east constantly requires new blood and they're willing to get it from any source they can hornswaggle into supplying it.

Haven't you noticed that as soon as we start to pull troops out the violence suddenly increases? All will be calm for months and we pull out a platoon and suddenly the whole mess is guns and bombs being used against civilians again. So we, and our allies, shove more troops back into the theater to quell it. And our people die.

For nothing.

The Middle East needs us there. They need the money and the attention to their generations long religious and ethnic cleansing. If we stay, they still kill each other, only in fewer numbers while WE make up the shortfall in the dead bodies of our own soldiers.

No. Thank. You.

If they want to kill each other, then they WILL kill each other and nothing you or I or anyone else can do or say that will prevent it. Let them. Eventually they will exterminate themselves after the smart ones leave the area.

Euronews? Looks like some folks are concerned about whats happening to their SE beyond "Stupid Americans, so savage, they'll never bee as advanced and suave as we are" shit talk.

Imagine that :)

*chuckle*

As predicted, the Obama strategy in now suddenly the Trump Tragedy...

Those who championed withdrawal are now abhorred by it.
Those who praised Barack now dump on "The Donald."

You can't make this stuff up.

Trump and the (R)'s really ought to crank out a public HC plan.

It will force the left to either

1) do a 180 flip and sound like libertarians all of a sudden.

2) go as hard left as they can, public HC isn't enough, only the totalitarian socialist state will do!!

I think most will go the 2nd route.

Because now ISIS is escaping, Turkey is advancing past the area they discussed with Trump and the people fighting for Turkey are not taking prisoner but executing people as they go. Turkey screwed Trump and the Kurds are turning to Russia for help.

But Obama indeed.

Soooooo just another day in the middle east.

What's the problem??

And you believe that all it takes to stop it are for more Americans to die there...

How about if THEY just all stopped killing each other instead.

It's always the USA's fault...clearly it's because of the USA they've been acting like savages for some 6000+ years.

Let’s just pretend you’re right, which of course you’re not. So, hey let’s stand back and let them all free now because....?

Because it's not our fuckin' problem, and if we make it our problem we get nothing for it except the potential for bigger, more serious problems.

There is no point in being there. There is no reason to fight the fight for anti-American socialist causes.

But this is what the Left has been agitating for ever since President-to-be Clinton was defeated by The orange orangutang...

;) ;)

But we are there.

So, not a word about ISIS and Al-Qaeda? Got it.

Hey, what about sending troops to Saudi Arabia? Care to comment on that? 🙊

So, zero desire to address what is actually happening now. Got it. Meanwhile ISIS and Al-Qaeda are terrorizing the Kurds. That is who Turkey has advancing beyond the safe zone.

We ARE addressing what's actually happening. We're telling Turkey to watch what they're doing as they invade a neighboring country.

What we AREN'T doing is putting more American lives at risk.

It appears that what you want is more of the latter rather than the former. Because you want everyone to know you care more about Kurdish lives than ours.

I have a two part solution.

1. If you aren't a US citizen go agitate for YOUR government to jump in there and make things right.

2. If you are a US citizen, buy a ticket to Baghdad, sneak into N. Syria, and join the struggle, show us what you're made of. Prove to us that you're willing to die for the Kurd's before you demand someone else does.

Free Pineland!!!!!!

But we are there.

No, you don't get it. Not at all. Instead you project the smarmy self interested smugness of one who refuses to change an irrational position on something you know nearly nothing about other than what you've been told to believe.

Hey, what about sending troops to Saudi Arabia? Care to comment on that? 🙊

I wonder if the oilfield in Saudi Arabia that was just attacked by Iran had anything to do with it...

American lives are at greater risk today than they were a week ago.

You’re not addressing anything, just spewing more drivel.

How do you and others here feel about our troops heading off the Saudi Arabia?

Spewing drive if all they can do.

And we are less safe than we were a well ago.

Trump had shown that he is either weak, corrupt or both in getting rolled by Turkey and abandoning the Kurds.

And we are less safe than we were a well ago.

Says the open borders lefty who wants to provide sanctuary to illegal migrants who violate our citizens.

Cry me a fuckin' river zippy....hope ISIS comes right across the border and skull fucks your sorry ass.

Trump tweet:

going into the Middle East is the worst decision ever made!" He added that "we are slowly and carefully bringing our great soldiers & military home

Trump reality:

The US has increased the deployment of forces in the region by 14,000 since May. With another 3000 on the way.

They just aren't being used to defend and support the good comrades and their fight for socialism, because freedom is BAD!!

I can see why you're so upset about that. :)

ISIS? Obama’s fault dontcha know.

Precious Oil > Human Lives. That has, unfortunately, always been the case.

Precious Oil > Human Lives. That has, unfortunately, always been the case.

Except that doesn't even make sense.

If it's always been about oil, then why didn't we take any??

What we AREN'T doing is putting more American lives at risk.

It appears that what you want is more of the latter rather than the former. Because you want everyone to know you care more about Kurdish lives than ours.

And look at how well that's working out:

Ain Issa, Syria (CNN)Pro-Turkish forces cut off the main road between the east and west of Syrian Kurdish territory Sunday, effectively cutting off the main city of Kobani.
. . .
The official added that the situation on the ground is deteriorating rapidly in northeast Syria, and confirmed that Turkish proxies, which the official describes as including "extremists," have advanced along the M4 highway setting up multiple checkpoints.

He said these proxy forces were wearing SDF uniforms and killing civilians on the highway. US Forces and SDF no longer control ground lines of communication or Turkish aircraft flying overhead.

"US forces are at risk of being isolated and there is increased risk of confrontation between Turkish proxies and US forces unless Turkey halts their advance immediately," the official said.

So what is the draft dodger going to tell Erdogan about this? "Keep it on the down low. Leave no witnesses. Make sure you take out any of the fake press."

Meanwhile, 785 ISIS terrorists have escaped thanks to the con artist's back stabbing:

Meanwhile, Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) spokesperson Mustafa Bali tweeted that almost all suspected ISIS militants had fled Ain Issa camp.

Kurdish authorities claim Turkey's offensive has led to the escape of "785 people affiliated with foreign ISIS fighters" from the Ain Issa camp. The camp mainly houses internally displaced people and some ISIS family members.

According to a statement posted on the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria Facebook page, "ISIS elements attacked the camp guards, opened the gates and escaped."

Also, it is now confirmed all U.S. troops are being removed from Syria.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has asked Turkish President Erdogan in a phone call to bring an immediate halt to military operations in northern Syria, according to a German government spokeswoman.

How so??

How many and for what reason?

Ok...so what?

Who is their??

US official - the situation on the ground is deteriorating rapidly in Syria. Extremist Turkish proxies have advanced. US Forces at risk of being isolated. increased risk of confrontation between Turkish proxies and US Forces unless Turkey halts their advance immediately.

Hey, what about sending troops to Saudi Arabia? Care to comment on that? 🙊

Trump has moved American forces out of that tactical area of responsibility to avoid being trapped between two opposing forces with their lines of supply severed. This would require An even larger force to ensure their safety and certainly more in national treasure. Trump is simply doing what he promised to do during the campaign. He asks a simple question, why should we spend blood and treasure defending borders in the Middle East when we cannot defend and police our own? The battle between the Kurds and the Turks has been going on since before the 16th Century.

We sent troops to Saudi Arabia to help secure the five US bases we have there and others in the area. We have official defense arrangements with Saudi Arabia, the purpose of which is the containment of Iran's nuclear capability.
