Yep, I imagine we could tear up the pub scene together. Speaking of which, will be headed back across the pond in a week. Any suggestions of special pubs to visit while I am there? Will be all over London proper and hanging out in the area just south of town. Could use a local's recommendation or three.

Not if you are anything like me no you couldnt.


As for pubs in London, not really got any ideas, dont get down the very often I'm afraid, now if you was coming to Leicester that would be a different matter, could start in the village I live in (9 pubs) then move on into the city where there is a pub on almost every street, although some are best avoided unless you like getting chatted up by a bloke in a dress called Mary! then there is the bars and clubs too........

I am a born and bred Englishman, although my family originally hail from Ireland too, they move here about 60 years ago, not sure where in Ireland though.
