I love it! And my gf is a GREAT kisser! We've both adapted our styles slightly since we met and now can meld completely while kissing.

Part of what is so appealing about kissing is the anticipatory excitement of "What, if anything, is coming next?" But what makes it so powerful and so easy to do for long periods is the intimacy. As Mstrkey alluded, many levels of intimacy are possible, but all kissing is intimate.

That's why many sex workers will perform any act EXCEPT kissing on the lips. It's also why marriage counselors report that couples stop kissing long before they stop having sex.

I'll vouch for this -- kissing is a lot more intimate then sex is at times...I've had a couple relationships in the past where we keep having sex long after we stop kissing (and stop talking, and...)

When you find that partner, it opens up a whole new world of closeness. There is an incredible amount of passion, intimacy, love, and togetherness that can come through the simple pressing together of two people's lips. It's a way of telling someone how you feel about them without saying a word. It's an unmistakable way of saying "I love you". And it's much easier than saying "I'll see you soon".

PolarStar...thank you for the compliment...and it is great to know men really do enjoy kissing as much as women and are not necessarily using it as a prelude to sex....tho I have never been one to complain when that happens!
