Do you 'Accept Anonymous Feedback' on your stories?

I recall @SimonDoom reported comments disappearing from one of his stories
I was asking about seeing one's own comments get deleted from someone else's stories.

It sounds like you're talking about either the original commenter or else @Literotica deleting someone else's comment from SimonDoom's story?

Every since I've been getting hit with 'Please no Gay Stuff.' in my ongoing Femdom story(That's definitely going to have beta on alpha gay stuff) I've been considering turning off anonymous feedback.

About 4 out of every 5 comments I get are anonymous, so it would drastically cut down the number of comments I get. But I suspect a lot of those comments that are making requests and trying to steer the story into a different direction are coming from the same person anyways. So it would be interesting to see if they stop commenting once they can't be anonymous, or if they continue marching forward with their 'No Gay' campaign.

I'm fairly sure I'm going to turn off anonymous feedback before I drop part 8, but I wanted to hear how other people felt about turning it off before I actually do it.

Did you turn of Anonymous Feedback? Or do you allow it?

And Why'd you go with whichever option you chose?
I allow it.

I joined and started writing here in the hopes of getting feedback, good or bad. I like comments. I like when people point out flaws and mistakes or even personal interests, even if I disagree with what they say.

Words are words. If someone anonymous posted my real name, address or phone number, I'd have a problem with that, but, I mean, that's what it would take to get me to turn off anonymous comments.

Otherwise, there's absolutely no abuse an anonymous Commenter could hurl at me that I haven't already said to myself, either about myself or about my writing.

I guess self loathing can be armor in the right circumstances, lol.

Ahh, missed that subtlety. I don't leave scurrilous comments, and I'm not aware of any writer deleting comments I've left. Not that I'm prolific with my comments, anyway.

Anecdotally, there's been commentary over the years that suggested the site ran a hate speak scan through the comments several times a year, although that was quite some time ago. Nobody has commented recently, that I can recall.

I leave all but the ones that distort the meaning of the story which might affect other's reading of it. Meaning 'a couple.' My LW stories fetch some fascinating, fabulously funny, vitriol that's too good to discard, although the site itself has ditched plenty of it.

Here's what Saul Bellow had to say:

I don't care what people say about me. I know the worst about myself and they don't.
