I have two. The first one I got in college and couldn't regret it more. It's a yellow submarine on my lower back. From the Beatles movie. Yeah, I know. On the plus side it does have some sentimental value. Eh, live and learn I suppose.

The other one I absolutely love. It's a black ribbon that's tied around my left ankle with a bow on the inside. I got it in memory of a good friend of mine who committed suicide. Though the memory of that event itself is unpleasant, it's something tangible to remember him by and recounting his story to those who ask about my tattoo helps me feel as though I am honoring his life.

Yeah!

I wonder if the Sabres would rather be starting the season with two losses, a tie -- and the Stanley Cup sitting in their house? :D After all, it's not like they're going to go undefeated.

Congrats! The Canes won their first game! (Sabres 4-0)

Here's the strange thing about me, I don't like to date girls with Tattoos, it's not a deal breaker or anything..

I feel the same way. I don't really like guys with tattoos and I think it's because, IMO, guys usually pick stupid tattoos. Skulls and crap like that that I'm just not into. Or it's some tribal design around his bicep that 10 guys at my gym have. Most of the time, it looks like they wandered into the shop, picked some flash off the wall and went with it -- no thought into it, no personal meaning, didn't even try to get something a little different.

Congrats! The Canes won their first game! (Sabres 4-0)

ahaha and the ones that do that are the same dudes that are itching for some sort of tattoo removal because they thought it made em look tough or somethin, i say if you're gonna get ink go custom, period, the end.

I've wanted to get one for such a long time, but it would have to be perfectly done, and I can't decide what I want. It would be on my upper body, but I'd have to be able to hide it in anything I would go to work in. I'm thinking some design that goes from my shoulders towards the center of my chest just above my breasts, but the designs wouldn't connect at the center, there would be a space, so I could have cleavage without tattoo. On my back it would connect at the center of my upper back. So, it would be like it was wrapping around me from the back.

There is the whole problem that I don't know if I would want it full black, or just a dark color, and I don't know what the design would be exactly. Plus, I would have to find an artist whom had done good work before.

That's not where the indecision ends, though. If anyone here reads X-men, and has seen the Phoenix tattoo on Rachel Grey's back, you would know what I'm talking about. It's very simple and pure black, it looks more like a symbol for a phoenix than an actual bird. The phoenix neck and head is very phallic, and I think it looks great. I could have it surrouned by a light flame. I'm such a nerd, but I would love that tattoo very much. Most people wouldn't get the reference, but I think it would still look good.

I could get both tattoos, but would be worried if it's too much tattoo. I could get either, but be dissatisfied with them anyway, which would suck.
So, yeah, I want one, but am indecisive and scared.

Right, because that's going to last all season.

Getting a bit 'snippy' aren't we?

Don't worry, I'm sure they'll play better. Maybe if they saw some picures of your hot body it would inspire them!!??

We're doing OK now. Beat the Pens 5-1 last night, without Stillman, Kaberle, Hedi and Ladd, then Letowski was knocked out cold -- and left on a gurney -- in the first period.

fine

I'm sure they'll do fine this year. I wouldn't be too excited about beating Pittsburgh though. Are they even in the NHL??!!!

i dont have a tattoo, i would like one but im sooo scared that its gonna hurt too bad.

I have thought about it, but they are just so permanent. I am afraid I wont like it later when I am old and saggy.

7-0

All but one were against playoff teams. Two were against some team from Carolina???!!!

I have a tattoo, and have regretted that I've gotten it... and so will you! Fortunately, mine are in inconspicuous places.

Yes, I have two...a little spray of pink flowers and foliage on my right breast and a "pink ribbon" with the date of my breast cancer diagnoses on my right arm...just so I can look and watch the "all clean" years pass by. It's been over 8 years now! :)

I have a few~
I like lizards(ghettcos) and tigers. So - I looked thru the books at the tattoo place and couldnt find much. The artist drew a lizard w tiger stripes of orange n yellow with a shadow beneath it- Some of my friends don't like it- but hey- I do- and that's what counts~

ANd just how can you judge that I'll regret that I've gotten my tattoos??

Looking at the poll on this thread, you so far is the only one that have regretted it!

I have three tattos. I got them all about five years ago. I still enjoy looking at them as well as my ex. Two are on my back ;)

Hey, if y'all want to burn it all out at the beginning of the season, that's just fine with me. We'll save our stuff for the playoffs.

Stanley Cup wins
Canes: 1
Sabres: 0

And, uh, all this trash-talking? You're pretty much ruining your chances of more leg shots.

It's been over 8 years now!

Congrats, puppy! May the clean years keep rolling for you!

I don't care about your outrage, or whether you live or die. I was just responding to the question at the beginning of the thread. That having been said, I stand by my original comment. Give it a couple of decades.
