I know i have noticed when a few particular people post, and followed up, but I don't tend to make a habit of it.

It's quite possible. Simply "following" them through the threads, or if you've been away from Lit, perhaps you will read up on what they've posted etc.,

Yeah, I come to this site for fun, but I post a lot when my friends on here are around. If not I usually kind of wait up till they get back on lit.
I will say this: the thread was SD's idea. Your big secret's out SD. 
As for me- I keep an eye out for some posters, but I don't believe I've annoyed them (yet), so...it's not stalking!
