Doctor Who (Closed for Karla_Wade)
On a bright bank holiday morning, the doctor sat reading a newspaper, in the park. His long, lean legs were propped up on a park bench, and his reedy fingers were quickly turning the pages of the paper. "Unbelievable.... So he's outed himself now has he, but they still don't know he's an alien." He mumbled other comments as he sped through the stories and the ads, pausing only briefly to glance around now and again. "Where has that girl gone off to now? All that complaining when I showed up late, and you think she was taking it out on me."
Around him were some blokes playing Frisbee, a man walking his dog and a trio of novice nuns, strolling along and laughing. The man's dog, a German shepherd, was trying ever so hard to pull his way over to where the flying disc sailed back and forth. The doctor spotted him and smiled.
He was wearing his usually trousers and suit coat, with a bright red bow-tie. His thick brown hair was rather disheveled by the breeze whipping by. The Frisbee nearly hit him a second later and he called out "Oi you lot, be careful" before he tossed the Frisbee back to them.
The park was little more than an round expanse of green in the middle of a small country village. At the center of the park sat a big blue police box. The dog paused to life his leg near the box, though the Doctor did not notice.
He finished reading his paper and folded it neatly in half, before glancing at his watch again. Finally he started going through his pockets, looking for something to do, before coming up with a bright green yoyo. "Hey, where did you come from? Yoyos are cool!" Soon he was spinning the wooden toy up and down, with only a modicum of skill. "You'd think I'd be better at this by now."
